MEGA update thread

I have installed and reinstalled pwi in several computers at several times for different reasons, and I have been collecting all the .cup file compiulations I have been able to find to make the task easier, but now I notice some of the large patch links are down, such as http://pwi-ns.perfectworld.com/patches/manual//ec_patch_1-52.cup .

Is there a way someone could make a gigantic update file for us?

That way, upon reinstall there would be no need to do the manual update weekly update by weekly update, or stay connected for 2 days in a row to get from the base client up to the current game update (Yes, I know my speed sucks).

Anyone?

Some of those that are down are no longer even necessary. I believe that every single one that is relevant to the new client (which starts at 484) is up, so there is no need to go back to 1-52 to make a gigantic update patch.b:shocked

If there are newer ones that are down, please let us know, though.

just recently I downloaded the client, then manual patches 484-512, 512-515, and 515-574. It wasn't so bad. It would be nice if there was a 484-574, but I can se why that would be hard to do given how the patches are released to us.

Just to check, Does that mean I can just install the Data1~4.pck and then update from 484 till current with no other step needed?

If so, I feel SO dumb now.

If you got that recently from the Download page, then yes. Whenever there's a big update (Lost Empire, Age of Spirits, Rising Tide, Genesis), they change the version of the client that can be downloaded, to avoid people having to update for days.
