- What is the best way you have found to successfully dye fashion to the color you want w/ the least expense? (Random Dyes / Buying Dyes from Vendors)

- Which option do you use > Full-Set (or partial) or piece by piece?

I ask because I dye my fashion and seem to of done very badly with these new outfits. I tried dying the entire set (alot of dye) - sometimes this works nice, but sometimes it just wastes a ton of dye with bad results.

    Buy fashion from other players when you see them sell the right collors... Takes a lot of time but it's worth it in the end... Unless something is less then 5 pigments... Then you could try to get your fashion the cheapest possible way and dye it with the right color dyes (does not go for if you want white, black or red)... b:victory

    1. Like Yuna said, buying/trading with others to get the color you want takes time, but it is so worth it with those high pigment costing items. Random dyes are very risky, but def cheaper than pure pigment colors.

    2. I do piece by piece. Only because I have other fash I mix and match. I dont have a single complete fash set in my wardrobe. If you do the full outfit it costs double the dyes also, which i'm sure you know, but just pointing out in case others don't.

    I almost always use random dyes from dragon points. Grinding for dyes FTW. At least 50% of the time I get black too. I set dye some things but mostly single dye. I think I have only bought regular dyes once, for a pair of shoes when I knew the color would match the top.

    I buy things from the AH if I can get the color I want, or a matching set for a decent price.

    I either take what I get or random dye the full set.

    I got my free christmas/new year fash an excellent shade of creamy white with a fullset random dying.

    Got my Magicians outfit in Pink Top and Legs (Slightly different shades, hard to tell) and slightly more purple pink shoes direct from the boutique (Again, its hard to tell.). Unless you look closely it looks like its all the same.

    Im a fan of random dying full sets myself, but if it comes in a good colour il run with it.

    (Im not a fan of black or white fashion. A lot of fashion looks horrible in either colour and I dont get why people use them indiscriminately... I mean, I see people in Black Thunder sets and it looks horrible Q__Q)

    Random dyes with dq points, i always get black on the 1st-4th try.

    Same here get black pretty quick, also for my female sin on RT I got a dark purple for her shinobe fashion which looks really good. So sometimes you get better than what you expected with randoms, just always get enough that you can do them all at once or you may find it takes forever to get things to match b:surrender

    Buying new ones from the boutique is the cheapest. If you don't get the color you want, you can just sell and buy it again. Random dyes are a black hole and specific ones aren't cheap.

    I dont understand why dont they put in Boutique all colors pigments and u can just buy it. Is very hard to find 20-30 pigments same color in game (if u have coins). I want to dye pants, shoes, top same color but if u dye it as set will take X2. Just put the colors on boutique and all will be easy.

    If you are doing a fixed color you don't need to dye them as a set since no matter when you dye them they will come out as the color dye you use. Dyeing as a set is for random dyes so you get all the same color.

    My wife dye one dress 5 times got 3 green and 1 brown and one I dont even know what color that was an ugly dark purple. She spend tons of DQ points for random pigments. I tell her better start save money and buy one by one and when u have how much u need dye it.
    I just say is easy if they put the pigments in boutique and u can buy what color u need. I play now, today and i dont have to wait months before i dye my fashion what color I want. Maybe i want to be blue today and not tomorrow. Is not like they give for free, we pay for it but at least let us know what we pay for.

    Amen to that! As I said in a different thread, I can understand the will to make money and make fashion purchases random colors to force you to buy dye, but I want to CHOOSE THE EFFING COLOR I want to dye my pixels. The random dye packs or the grind of DQ, and lastly waiting forever then buying in the AH for the right color...no thanks. I would rather spend a little more for the color pigment I want in the boutique rather than ever go through random again. Never again will I buy fashion because the dyes I get are pink, purple, sky blue, yellow, green, Lima bean green, etc. Never again. I am not a pixellated bag of Skittles
