Does Battousai even work for agro?

It says it builds up aggresion towards you but I never saw it take or help me keep agro.

    ..It's not that much stronger than BM's stream strike. Keep in mind, like barbs, our inability to sustain aggro becomes evident 90+.

    Most seekers rely on vortex.

    And even there, you need to make sure heart shatter is applied or aps peeps steal aggro like idiots.......which often result with there deadb:chuckle

    Battousai will not keep Sins or BM's from having agro, but this skill is very useful on keeping agro away from cleric's BB or any other squishes during fights.. e.g. Gen. Wurlord in TT 2-x.. Its range & threat lvl effect can help prevent squadwipes..

    Battousai agro affect is not great for holding agro, but it has its uses. b:mischievous

    I don't understand why this would help. Doesn't Heart Shatter increase mob damage % for Phy/Metal damage for the entire squad?

    In that case the APS and Metal attack DDs would also have their damage and hence aggro increased.

    Heart Shatter only works on Physical Skills, not Auto-Attacks.

    APS toons are unlikely to skill spam cuz that will slow down their attack speed. A seeker is much more likely to use a lot of skills. Having heartshatter only work on skills helps to balance out the damage a seeker will do compared to a high aps toon.

    They could have balanced things out by allowing seekers to use fists/claws/daggers but the game devs wanted seekers to be swords only.

    They could have balanced it out by giving seekers super high DPH but that would have made seekers too strong in PVP.

    Balancing it out this way actually makes sense.

    Any skill which does damage will build aggro. But "aggro skill" means a skill which will increase aggro beyond that caused by damage, like the barb Flesh Ream skill. Battousai can supposedly do what Flesh Ream does though not as strong, but it seems most ppl don't notice anything from it.

    b:cry would be fun heart shatter affected auto attack too, we'd be asked for every nirvy run lol

    p.s i know it will never happen, would be too much overkill
