I was looking around the forums and I stumbled on the old mermaid guide that released info about the tideborn classes when I saw this.

That has got to be the best looking tide born ever made and since I have a sin I want it to look like that.

So after 1hr of trying I failed miserably. So to make it short does anyone have this preset or know how to make it.

Lemme know I'd really appreciate it. b:pleased

    .ini edits yo.

    Perfectly legit in every version except ours.

    We get a legit dragoon glitch however, so I guess it balances out.

    Most likely the reason why they won't let us edit is cos they NEVER view their reports. A lot of people would make stick character which would be annoying, the way the other games combat this is they actually view reports and don't take weeks to see tickets so the players can get banned (or edited back).

    If the GM's actually looked at reported characters in game, and let us say why we want to report them instead of it just coming up as "Type: Report Hacking. Cont: Player --- Is using a ****" we would be able to edit chars to make them look weird and awesome.

    It's annoying, I'd like to be able to edit my character...

    alternatively they could you know have programed the game in such a way that when you edit the .dat or .ini file that is associated with your character's appearance it doesn't actually modify his appearance to the other players in the game. All it does is edit the appearance on your computer.

    That is how many of the other games deal with character model modifications.

    like they said, .ini edit. Perfectly acceptable except in all but our version. Granted a lot of people have edited characters and I have yet to know 1 person that was banned for it. Its like goon gltiching except there hasn't been any threat against .ini editors. Honestyly I think it should be allowed lest they make the almost untarget-able skinny chars. But meh I'm just a silly wiz, no one takes my opinion seriously

    Honestly that's a great edit too, I wana know what the file text looks like.

    They should at least allow edited for faces / hair. You can't do anything wrong there, Human/Veno/Winged Elf hair a mostly dated and look terrible.

    They could possibly make a thread somewhere so if somebody sees some ridiculous skinny character they could screenshot and post it so action can be taken.

    There have been a few people warned. Nurfed used to have 255 size bewbs a long time backb:chuckle. GMs made him put them to normal cos some **** snitched :(

    PWI has a variety of different hair options for players who feel strongly about their hairstyles via the Fashion Head items. As for faces, I disagree that players can't do anything wrong. Facial changes is rife with room for abuse, and does not further the presentation of the game.

    By abuse you mean.... what? Cos if you mean ugly, then thats possible without .ini edits. 90% of my server manage it on a daily basis.

    Additionally, why cant we do it again? The boundboxes for people dont change with the character size. Hell, I have more trouble clicking on someone on a mount than I do clicking on someone whose thin as a twig.

    How bout those who like the TB/EG Hairstyles and want them on their non-TB/EG chars? I very much like a few of the female TB hairstyles but I don't like either of the classes to go and make one.


    You mean making ugly faces? That's incredibly easy without touching the .ini file. Have you seen the players in HL? They be making some f-ugly chars. I'm pretty sure my satshop gets avoided because its pretty darn ugly

    Fair enough with the hair (although I prefer certain hairs over anything in the boutique) but I really don't see how face editing could be abused. Could you elaborate? Even if you could abuse it, this game really needs a better report system. Set up a forum post like it said, it's easy enough to take a screenshot and post it if it's ruining the game for the player, if not I see no reason why it shouldn't be aloud.

    I'm sure a GM could skim through the post daily or at least weekly and alter those with ridiculous edits, take a stand for once and stop abusers in this game, from what I see abusing is welcomed in PWI.

    The only way I could see this being abusable is editing body portions down to stick size.
    I've seen one toon like this in game and it was a joke for the owner, not usable. Conversely, I've seen obese toons many places that are very easy to see.

    Wow you guys got off topic errr so I take it non of you know the preset hehehe also how is it edited xD he has the same hair and stuffs the face just looks better.

    It's hard to tell if the person used ini editing because of the photo effects. I can't tell if the eyes are ini edited or not. The sin does have a boyish face though.

    Most people are saying ini editing, so thats prob what it is since it seems impossible to get the face without editing the files.

    You can tell it was ini edited because of the skin and hair color. Those skin and hair colors are inaccessible in the default settings of the game (at least they are to the best of my ability). Even if you discount the photo's glare and even some basic Photoshopping you are still looking at an ini edit due to various other subtleties that I didn't even get to approach because I was too focused on the color of skin and hair when trying to mimick this character image.

    Sorry for the double post after alot of searching I found out that yes that face comes from the Human or Elf first cute preset. So they did edit the Ini file QQ dam and I wanted that face lol <-- creepy much

    My *** looks similar without ini. edits but a bit more, um manly. (I wish) b:laugh Only recently changed the eyes so they look freaky b:dirty

    I used ini editing to reincarnate my cleric as her wizard counterpart. (Looking back I shoulda been a wizard from the start. While I was a good cleric, I never truly enjoyed it if im honest. But I looooved my clerics look after her first makeover at 90 or so and wanted to keep her <3)

    I coulda done it manually, but I didnt fancy spending 4 months re-perfecting it. Game automatically filtered out the feathers and base face structure. (Its slightly different between races.) Now she looks so similar youd assume they were twins.

    Plenty of good uses for ini editing :/

    Also EG eyes should totally be shared through the races.

    EQ eyes have that facial structure problem tho D:

    The portrait view looks down slightly and makes them all look broken unless theyre EG chars or they put the effort into the face. Which noone does. Seriously, not seen one EG eyed person who didnt look screwy in the portrait.
