wow. my ingame hubby's account was **** and the GMs wont do a damn thing to help him. That really sux b:angry They closed his ticket. From what i have been told, if u put real money into pwi then the acc holder is entitled to know the ip addresses that have logged into yr acc. He was not given them. All they said was the ip address is consistant with his. That is a lie. They need to get off their ***** and look into this matter. Come on GMs do the job u r paid to do. Its not like u cant give him the info he is asking for. Or mayb u just want to lose more players.

    if he noticed that he was **** as soon as he logged into his character - the IP address that last logged the account displays when you log.

    keep submitting tickets... and money does not entitle players to anything

    you might have him word it differently or have you write the ticket for him... since i know your husband and he doesnt speak english well... pwi staff doesnt like people who cant speak english or they dont understand- i know its harsh but... its true

    when i say word it differently, i mean think of things like this... what is he missing? list the items, if it is just coin... good luck pwi probably wont do **** because you could have just given someone coins... BUT if its items then have them trace the items of where they are now (everything in game has an item code). they should tell you who has them and you can go accusing from there. still say you were **** but make sure you provide as much information as possible.

    you mean "****" as in he either was a nab user and gave away his info or was nab pc user and gave away his info to a keylogger.
    or just maybe he used the reverse of the acct name as the password.
    frickin' tricky **** right there to think of that.
    and he really was **** because he was nab user and basically gave away his info.

    **** as in ... they logged onto his acc and stole his coin, pots. charms, teles. tele stones even his love up and down tome. cant think of what else was taken atm. but yeah. the GMs do a real good job of not helpin ppl in this situation.

    Simply logging into his account and taking his stuff does not a hacking make.

    If he gave someone else his info, that was stupid of him and his own fault. If he uses the same login/password on other sites, that was stupid of him and his own fault. If he went to a gold selling site and got a keylogger, again, stupid of him and his own fault.

    Ouch, bloody hackers... can't belive, he had great gear i hope they didn't mess with refines or such or npc something , lets hope GM will look into this matter.

    im in his fac and can say, he CHANGED HIS PASSWORD after being **** one... NO ONE except HE HIMSELF knew it after the change. he was **** again AFTER he changed it.

    GM you should help him, he is a great player and if it is because he doesn't speak the ebst english that is unfair to him. help him out pls gm's

    Hopefully he can get a good GM who takes their job serioulsy. I know there r some out there somewhere lol. If he quits due to the GMs not doin their jobs, then all i can say is they will lose another player - me- as well.

    i know at least 5 person that got ****...stealing acc in this game is legal

    they just gonna tell you...you shouldnt give your pass to anyone...or why you didnt change your pass every week b:victory

    you should really focus on my advice... and focus on the love up and down as the item of interest, there arent enough for the help desk person to get overwhelmed in item codes.

    ask them to track it down, dont focus on IP addresses... what are you gonna do when you get it? nothing... you will know where it was logged from but then what? knowing who it is in game is a bigger deal- find out who has the stuff now... it probably wasnt just NPC'd

    as for him changing his password and getting **** again... umm... he should maybe run some virus scans for a key logger... :/

    Sounds like he was sharing his account with someone, one doesn't just simply log into a person's account and takes his items/gear without knowing their login info, and keyloggers are rarely the case. Your friend should first run a scan to see if they can find any keylogger programs on their computer, it would be safe to clean that mess up - second, send just one ticket as others will bump down their previous ones only making the response time longer.

    Regardless, they won't be able to retrieve your friend's gear since they rarely do it, and even then it's not because the person was ****.

    It's very extremely rare to see an actual ****. In a case like this where he changed the password and someone figured it out again, it's usually because of poor password creation. Your buddy that just figured it out and stole your stuff was able to figure out your password again.

    For best security, use a password that contains at least 2 upper case characters, 2 lowercase characters, 2 numbers, and possibly even symbols.

    Example..
    ?URn0tKewL2me!

    the problem is that too many people just use a word/number combination that is familiar to them...
    That would be like me using "thunder14" someone who knew me could guess that fairly easily.
