Why lie about your class and lvl?

it's been happening way too often, people recruit for high level squads to do certain instances and when they invite the alleged 90+ cleric/barb/seeker in tends to be a level 60- class that you didnt even ask for like wtf? Obviously they get kicked within seconds but in some cases they convince the lead to give them lead so they can invite their "higher faction mates" and in all casess that doesnt ever go down the right way.

For example i was buying heads yesterday, and when i entered the squad, there was a level 42 in it...i didnt question it, so when i got to the dungeon it was me, two other 7x's the sin who did the frost and the 4x. I'm not sure what happened but the 4x managed to get lead, kick everyone and sell the heads himself....good thing i paid QQ

Another example; when recruiting for a faction while the director/leader is offline....ive seen this one too many times, the under required player gets invited in, theres a lot of rage going around, and players forget that the player is in the fac so they never get kicked.

FOR EXAMPLE....a certain 8x archer got invited to chinatown is by stating that he is a certain 10x wizards alt because their names are similar...this is false obviously but i suppose he enjoyed the 24 hours of fame and the free JFC he got from being in CT...you can only imagine what happened when they were both online and both talking in faction chat...Lulz

I'm just asking why lie about your class and level? are the 8 seconds of being in a squad that you dont belong in really that valuable? is it really thhat funny? just a waste of time, and i fail to understand.

Feel free to post situations where that has happened to any of you.

From my perspective of having this happen, I'd say 'yes' they think it is funny.

So if you do this and join my squad, I'll nod.... smile and ask you to get some chi... let's do this... you want in... come on in...

And the moment you turn purple, I'll kick you from squad, pk you, keep what you drop and keep your joke memorable.

Guild > Your part of it, you contribute to it - so be vocal about things such as this.... or don't and let them continue to happen. Simple.

Squad > Same. Your part of this squad, if your not vocal about something you dont like, then just lay down for us and write "Welcome" on your mid-section and you can be the new doormat of the day. If your part of something, your opinion should count. If it doesn't, then I suggest a new squad or guild.

Well you are naming and shaming for one so you might want to fix that before a mod sees it.

But yeah I get people that lie to me when I am forming a squad last night for Delta Bh I was trying to form a squad it was my cleric a bm and a seeker and then had a pm lvl 101 mystic so we said hey what the hell it's just wave 2 so we invited him and oh look a lvl 61 mystic, umm hello you can't even enter delta dumbass.

I have entered wrong bh squads by mistake. Often the lvl higher because i wasn't paying attention. Always left squad after apologising. Never did it intentionally. Might want to remove player's name :).

i'm sure what you did wasn't a blatant lie though. it's not like you're a level 23 veno impersonating a level 102 r9 bm. accidents happen

If someone lies to me bout their level/class for squad I just kick them. I clearly stated what I'm looking for, you don't fit, go away. lol Dunno if it's a way to mooch off people or just being plain too silly to read...

I'm not in a faction with a level requirement but... Given someone joined who's not the level I asked for, I'd handle it maturely. Tell them about our requirements and if they don't wanna leave, well, ask the leader what she thinks about it and kick if needed. No need to make big drama of it imo. I prefer mature facs :p

Sorry but I lol'd hard about the idea of a low level joining a high level squad claiming that they are the alt of a 10x BM and asking for lead to invite their "alt" but instead kicking everybody.
