I've been gone for a wile and came back because I thought my GF would like the game and she does of course. Anyways when I left you could sell DQ items to any npc and get points. Well I just went to cheak out points we have and mine is still 5 since I spent em all b4 i left and hers is still at 0. Did they change how to get the points. We have sold tons over the past week.

    Dragon Quest level 20 Items no longer give points, so assuming that you are both only selling level 20 items you won't be able to get points from them. You will need to wait until you can start accumulating DQ 31 items or higher.

    Also it should be noted that the Chest of Coins obtained from the level 50 Supply Stash also gives around about 500 DQ Points if sold to the Merchant instead of being opened with a perfect hammer for it's 1,000,000 coins. Seeing as how the Perfect Hammer is ultimately worth more coin than the 1,000,000 coins you get for opening the Chest of Coins, I usually just sell the Chest of Coins for 500 DQ Points.

    Another note is that there is an NPC in the same area as the various Dragon Heralds who will give you 150 DQ Points if you are willing to pay him a certain amount of coinage. Though its usually cheaper to just go ahead and farm DQ Points from DQ Items.

    Wait what ? you pay 5 gold for 500DQ points ? Sounds rather expensive to me.

    I pay 5 gold to be able to continue opening the supply stash after level 50 (i.e. at levels 55, 60, 65, etc...) not to get the 500 DQ points. What I don't do is pay 5 gold or the equivalent of roughly 6.5 million coins on my server to exchange for 1 million coins. That just isn't a smart investment. Selling the Chest of Coins for 500 DQ Points is infinitely wiser than opening the Chest of Coins would be given that you could sell Perfect Iron Hammers for more than the chest is worth.

    Oh OK thank you for the info. Comming back from a vacation is always a bit of a culture shock with all the changes that happen.
