LVL 100 Wizard gear question

Hi all!
I`m getting close to 100, fortunately I already have the 200k rep for R8 but my question is, which are the best boots and pants for a lvl 100 wizard? I only have around 70 mill to expend on those parts, thks in advance for your help.

    I don't know about your server but right now on lost city heavens footwear, (dancing sparkle) are 45-50m right now which is very good! +2% crit +10 magic +180 hp. I want them but I already have hh99 boots which aren't bad if you're using hh99 sleeves for the extra -3% channel.

    For pant's I still use the acrobatic hh90 ones, you can find a 4 socket +4-5 one for cheapish 10-12m.

    The heavenrage boots (dancing sparkle) are untradeable. Ultimately, you are going to want rank 9. Plus there are rumors that wizards will get rank 8 boots and wrists soon and that you can recast them for random stats like Nirvana.

    Now, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't pay very much for any gear other than r8 or r9 if it auto binds and is untradeable - maybe just cloudcharger or the other necessary capes that don't have a strong replacement on the horizon. Holy punishment helm too isn't bad. Not much to replace that with either.

    If I were you, I'd just get tt80 gold boots, some OHT boots with pdef adds (i have ones with +94/+94/+94 on sanctuaryb:pleased) or maybe farm the g10 dancing sparkle in OHT or whereever (they refine like g14 and are pretty cheap to 4 socket). TT99 isn't a horrible choice if you already have tt99 wrists, but meh.

    The problem with the game now is this: for pve, you don't really need anything more than tt90 gear - and for pvp you really can't function all that well without at least rank 8. Either way, why waste time/effort/coin on heavenrage boots or tt99 gold weapons or anything like that, when at best (pve) its unnecessary, and at worst (pvp) its not enough.b:surrender

    Oh thats true you can find or make nice oht ones, ty. I remember I had one with hp +105 hp+105 and phys res +94. and those dont bind

    Heavenrage Boots are tradeable. Unless the one the guy was selling in WC was from nearly a year ago.
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    I guess, but use them for what? To make a second overpowered pve toon or underpowered pvp toon?

    So what do you think about getting the archangel sleeves and boots? it worth the extra -3 channeling?

    This is just and idea of what i will have at lvl 100.. i dunno yet with citrines i will use on the robe, boots and sleeves.. i will also try to get the phys def puzzle and and warsong..

    Again, its ok, not a horrible choice.

    But look into what they are saying about rank 8 boots and wrists and the ability to recast them to g14 with set bonuses (and random adds?)

    Blood is right. I have been using the Dancing Sparkle for ages and it already hurts when I think about replacing them with rank 9 (I am still missing boots, wrists and belt). TT80 gold are nice boots and easy to put 4 sockets into. IMO they are more useful than HH90 green boots.

    Pants: Easy choice, HH90 green all the way, till you get r9.

    That I don't agree with you on some things or that I find your arguments with Adroit tiring doesn't mean that everything you say is invalid or that you have no clue about the wizard class.
    Adroit is a great wizard, his name keeps popping up almost whenever I talk to people about the best wizards on LC, even without me mentioning him. I have also fought him myself a lot of times, so I can tell from my own experience.     Seriously, though, I don't judge Adroit a bad wizard. I don't judge anyone on my server a bad wizard, let alone across servers (unlike some people here).

    I judge him arrogant and condescending when someone posts an opinion different than his own. And I do so regardless of how many people would substitute "Adroit is a great wiz" for any more thoughful analysis of any given subject.
