I got a kwolin and ive used hers debuff a lot but, now i want to level them up and I dont know what level first.

Magic debuff or pshysical?

I know caster nirvana is magic but im still far away from that level so, is there somewhere a guide to know what bosses/mobs are magic? or there is something about the boss/mob that help to know what debuff use, like its element?

Thanks!

The wiki has a pretty good list of the BH bosses, pwdb has the full information on everything.

As a quick guide - most bosses don't have significant weaknesses to physical-vs-magic, and the elemental bosses are pretty evenly split up across all the elements. (59 for example having one of each)

So usually you choose the pets elemental skills based on the fact that almost all your spells are wood.

As for howl or pierce: Howl first. Your ironwood scarab is superior to pierce in every respect.
That's assuming you're a primarily caster-form veno, of course. If you use foxform a lot, or never have other casters with you, then maybe pierce is better for you. But base it on what damage your party usually deals, rather than what a particular boss is weak to (unless you really intend to farm one specific boss)

Someone suggest a wood skill for my pet and I got it, now it's lvl 3 and it works pretty well so I'll keep it but I've always wanted icicle for my magmite.

I like the caster way so Howl is it.

Thx you very much, you helped me a lot! b:thanks

Howl is better. While Pierce drops phys def by 36% , Ironwood is better , cause even at 30% it does more dmg , its a nuke skill so ull be using it a lot , Sage makes it 40% debuff and demon drops the percentage to 20% , but if it kicks in it completely bypasses the mobs phys def. Usually magic defence is lowered by clerics or spear BMs , however most of them forget about these skills. Howl is a really nice skill especially when maxed (36%) as it is useful outside of bosses too since it gives a boost on ur own skills.
