Riding mounts only outside safe zone.

Would it be possible to delete the horns from the game, entirely?
Or at least give us a way to turn them off.

    Couple things wrong with this:

    On PvP servers, riding the mount outside of the safe zone or afking outside the safe zone on the mount will get you killed guaranteed. On PvE servers, if you are white or red named it could still get you killed.

    There is already a best performance mode you can enter that will reduce the amount of lag. You can also turn off displaying characters in a distance and shrink the amount of players you see within x amount of radius to you by turning down the distance you want them rendered. Both of these things will reduce lag on your end. The main problem isn't the mount anyway, it's the number of catshops and players looking for goods.

    Why should someone else's gameplay be altered just because someone else doesn't want to ever have to press the shift key? Do you have some random hatred of pressing the key? Some kind of inability to press it? It only takes a second of your life, but your idea would cause a lot o people a lot more time than it would take you to press the shift key, not to mention their ability to level mounts safely.

    And then people ride in on their gourds and their kites and their mantas and people start complaining about that and suddenly you cant fly in safe zones.

    I really don't see this as that much of an issue, yea it is slightly annoying that you occasionally have to use the shift click to get the npc you want, but just stop being lazy and just hove your mouse until you get the npc icon, it's not that hard.

    Besides, you don't get riding mounts to go faster, you get them to show off, and what use is showing off if you can't do that where there are the most people? It just happens that the most people are in safe zones.

    Now I can honestly say I wouldnt mind seeing this change, but I don't think it's ever gonna happen, so just accept that you'll have to shift click (also where do you get this 20% play without keyboard statistic?)
