Care to be a bit more specific in what you're looking for?
Your question is a vague as say... "Any suggestions on the best car to drive?"
How high over 65 are you?
How quickly do you level?
Do you want -chan gear?
Do you want massive HP?
What build are you?
Do you want more phys def?
Do you play your mystic as a cleric, veno-tank, mage DD, all of the above?
How much coin are you willing to spend?Demon_Troll: "takes on the appearance of an innocent archer but turns into a mindless idiot once you hear him speak"

so really, what sort of mystic are you? do you wear light, heavy, or arcane armor?
i prefer light if you ever do pvp- it can be quite helpful and is usually cheaper than arcane (in my veno's case, not too sure about yours) i had saved up and found all the materials for the Shinguards of Hades or watevs and have to admit, they were worth it. for the 60s, i had bought some cheap 3 star light pieces and added some left over shards to them. i recommend saving for TT70, or you can be a cs loser and go pay for your rep to get the rank armor.0 -

yes, but farming is quite tedious and we all know that the majority of rank 5 and 6s nowadays have bought the officer's badges with real money. in fact, i had done that to get to rank 5, but now i regret it, even though the badges were much cheaper than they are now.0

I'm lvl65 at the moment, but I'm not expecting to be able to get new armour straight away, so any suggestions for around lvl70 would be good.
I'm not leveling that quickly at the moment, but once I start doing BH again it'll speed up.
I'm not too fussed about chan time if I'm honest, I mostly let Chihyu do most of the work and throw in a few stronger hits every now and then. The only skill that I would want to speed up would be Absob Soul, but I'm not too bothered.
Although massice HP would be good, I'm focusing more on MP and MP recovery, as I always have to meditate in any BH runs I do in a squad without a cleric, so I slow everyone down and when they run ahead they expect me to be able to heal and then blame me if they die b:infuriated
I messed up the build at the start, but I'm pretty much pure mag, with enough str to get the armour from NPC (but I haven't done that for a while)
A good balance of pdef and mdef would be nice, but most of the time chihyu holds aggro, so I mostly get hit by mag atks.
I prefer DD, and I have chihyu summoned pretty much all the time, but I'm happy to act as support if a squad needs me to.
I don't mind spending quite a lot if the armour will last me a long time, but I kind of wanted to get an idea of how much the best armour would cost so I can save up if I need to0 -

I do mostly the same thing when I am soloing. However in squads I tend to favor a more supportive role if I am able to pick such a role up. However I haven't really done many squads of my level. (I am currently lv. 50 on my Mystic).Although massice HP would be good, I'm focusing more on MP and MP recovery, as I always have to meditate in any BH runs I do in a squad without a cleric, so I slow everyone down and when they run ahead they expect me to be able to heal and then blame me if they die b:infuriated
Have you considered obtaining a Platinum Spirit Charm (aka an MP Charm)? Compared to the HP Charms they are infinitely less expensive. Additionally they help keep your MP rate alot higher so that you don't have to worry about healing nearly as often. There is even a Cash Shop sale for them going on right now that makes them a whole lot cheaper to buy in the cash shop.I messed up the build at the start, but I'm pretty much pure mag, with enough str to get the armour from NPC (but I haven't done that for a while)
If you did in fact mess up your build from the start what I would do, is purchase an Advanced Reset-All Note either from the Cash Shop or from another Player. This way you can try making your attributes back to what they should be.
Ideally I try to have at most 15 to 20 Vitality, 55 Strength, 5 Dexterity and then the rest put into Magic. These scores do not count any bonuses granted by equipment or tomes.A good balance of pdef and mdef would be nice, but most of the time chihyu holds aggro, so I mostly get hit by mag atks.
Chihyu is not the end all be all of summons, and in fact one of the weaker summons you can be using, especially in squads and instances unless you are soloing. And even then Crag Lord is probably better for soloing purposes.Acc 1: TolanSky ~ ● Seeker / Daearena ~ Mystic / ThornLily ~ Veno

I dont get why people hate Cash Shoppers so much. Any MMO is a business, and needs money from somewhere to provide updates, customer support, etc.
Im a cash shopper. I go to 7-11 and buy my little $10 card once in a while. I will never be the kind of player that can afford to whip out a Credit Card and plop $500 or more on any game. But, I dont see why I should hate them for being rich enough to throw so much cash on pixels.
There are games that you simply cannot play without some kind of cash commitment. Some game provide you allegedly better gaming if you move from their free-to-play to their pay-to-play version.
You could say the R9 plus 12 is why you hate them. They have an advantage because of the cash.
But if its true that Nirvy gear and others can be just as good, then the only thing anyone is really hating is the fact it will take them a bit longer to get what others got by merely having nothing better to spend their cash on in real life.
I had a player once tell me I should stop buying my little $10 game card once in while, and send the money to help starving people in a third world country.
Firstly, I work. All work and no play makes Brill a dull girl - and I dont feel I should be ashamed of spending $10 that I earned once in while for a little recreation. I certainly cant go out to dinner, or a movie, or even do a little personal shopping for $10 where I live.
Secondly, although it can be personally fulfilling to help starving people in a third world country - I dont feel I should have no recreation at all in my life, and simply feel like a hampster on wheel to accomplish this. My $10 every once in a while would help, but its not going to solve anything in a Corporate Driven world. As the country of my birth has hardly any 'middle class' left, you could say I now live in third world country too.
I said back to the player, "Are you planning on selling your PC to feed these people too?" And as expected got no answer.
For those filthy rich players that do buy R9 plus 12, Im not sure its right to hate them, as said - they make the game possible for the players who never drop a dime on the game. And Im not sure having the very BEST gear in the game is all you need to 'rule over all'.
Its like showing up at a tennis court with the most expensive tennis gear available - all ready for your first lesson. Takes a bit more than this to make you a 'pro' tennis player. xD
On topic:
You really need to tell people more about how you play, and what your goals are. If you dont have any, or dont really know, you need to say that too.
The level 5 rank gear you move out of quickly, and if you already know you are not going to buy your way to rank 9 - that might be one worth skipping depending on how fast you are currently leveling.0 -
