Would like some input/advice please

Ok well. I wanted some advice on a temporary endgame weapon for me. As such i cannot afford rank 8/NV at this moment in time even with sale on, so i was hoping for something temp until i can farm enough for r8.

I currently use

☆Firelotus, Blade of the Dragon
HP: +225
Strength +14~15
Sacrificial Strike: Has a chance to inflict double damage
at the cost of losing 5% HP

which is fine but being sac strike means i have to pot more than i need to during farming b:embarrass

However i bought

☆Dragonslayer, Annihilation
Dexterity +14~15
Vitality +14~15
Critical Hit Rate +2%

For fairly cheapish. So i was planning to use that at 99.
But i would like some input ^^ so any suggestions i would appriciate.

i used fire lotus up until i got rank 8.

the sacri although hp heavy is funny with gemini =] its not a bad blade tbh will last along time if u +4 it with perfects, have you not looked into TT99 gold sword thats really strong

if your using 5% hp neckless you wont notice the drain on hp so much or use last stand ? cooldown 3 mins but if u have 5k + hp 3mins is nothing

i have 7.1k hp on my seeker atm, and my blade is +3 so i should prolly plus it again.

Duals hit harder, Swords proc more, it's all about what you're going for (though if you ask me, it seems like duals should hit more and swords hit slower, but that's just my general mindset when I think of how weapons work)

so, go single first to farm for your duals. .

I am forsaking Firelotus for the same reason you detailed; Sac. Strike just doesn't seem as beneficial to me as it does some other people.

I use Firelotus, and the sac strike is great. Sure the damage isn't as high as a dual sword normally, but when I crit and sac strike I can do big damage. Also the 5% HP loss isn't that bad, especially while BP'd. I'm going for R8 sword for general use and then farming for gold/nirv dual swords for pvp.

People who aren't agreeing with firelotus are people who haven't obviously witnessed the 65-70k zerk crits on gemini and vortex, it's obvious what weapon to use if you ask me

Damned impressive (sparked ?) damage. But I somehow find it difficult to believe you can pull off those kinds of numbers with your firelotus being only + 2 refined. b:surrender

i used 10 att and def lvl debuff and sorry armour +2 sword +3 (perfect garnets)

sacri obviously kicked in but no spark
(fragrance maybe !! it was a bit of time ago but i still have my lotus and like to pull it out now and then)

thats impossible, i gotta call BS on this sorry, first off my firelotus was +4 and im near pure STR build ive got less than 30 vit, I also notice you dont have neither sage gemini, nor sage vortex, and Im guessing if you dont have both of those you definitely dont have sage blade and sword mastery

30k to fragrance when your 2 previous attacks were 2k and 5k? sounds like HF, tangling mire, definitely a crit, I hit bosses in frost for 4-5k with gemini non soulsever proc'd, non crit, non zerk, and your telling me u do 6x that with a lesser refined sword? lol

107k is impossible to also claim non crit, with my firelotus I zerk critted for less than that, and you are telling me you did it with only zerk, no crit, no amp?

BS, now Im all about firelotus as a pre-endgame weapon, but not willing to go as far as to make outrageous damage claims.

I apologize; I was thinking about it from a strictly PvP point of view. If you're going to be doing a lot of auto-attacking during your farming/PvE, then have fun with your singles. Otherwise, I can't see why they'd be better, unless you want to be an APS Seeker, in which case I have nothing more to say.
