Mac with PWI

hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew of a simple easy way to play perfectworld international on the mac without using parallels and bootcamp(or any programs involving a dual windows mac concept).
I've previously played the game with bootcamp and it ended up killing my macs hard-drive, apple had a warranty so they replaced everything. I then recently downloaded parallels but the game is very laggy and its not worth playing, anyone know an easier + simpler solution with the mac?

    Unfortunately, I dont think that you can play PWI on a Mac without using those kind of "split OS" programs b:surrender

    Have you tried Wine?

    Also, be helpful if technical support around here actually done research and provided information and reference instead of responding with weightless comments.

    Split OS programs? That's a very uninformative and vague description. I think you mean multi booting (multiple operating systems to boot from) or emulators.

    Split OS programs? That's a very uninformative and vague description. I think you mean multi booting (multiple operating systems to boot from) or emulators.

    XXmona can you tell me more about wine? have you used it, if the game still lags with wine it would be pointless using it. (when i say lag i mean my ping is at 4000fps this makes it impossible to play)

    I haven't personally used Wine but if you've exhausted all other options then it's worth a shot. It's primarily a GNU/Linux program but since Mac OSX runs on the same kernel there's a version for it. Which version of Mac OSX do you have? I'll do a little research for it, if you want. It would also help to know the basic specifications of the Mac you have (CPU, GPU and amount of Ram).
