why bracers of blood moon ?

why should i get the bracers of blood moon ?
i dont get the point spending 25-35m for this bracers.
ok, i get -0.10 int

but i can have for 100-500k some 3 star bracers with -0.05 int
so for double int spend some millions...seams not logical to me newbie :)

is it for the look, like lets show im rich or what did i miss ?

    Also, they are completely farmable especially during 2x. I farmed mine, I"m not rich. They last until TT99 gold wrists, what other wrists can you wear for 39 levels and not be handicapped by the decision? Nor are they bound which means you can resell them for basically what you paid for them once you are done with them or give them to an alt. If you farmed them instead of paying for them, that 30 mil can seriously contribute to your ability to get the next step in your gear and you will have made a very nice profit.

    I had mine for 11m and sold it at lvl 99 for 13m. Was long ago however.

    Like already said, the bracers can be sold after you're done with it. If it's 25m now you can easily get yourself TT99 wrists with that money once you're 99. Another thing that makes the bracers great is that it's equal to tt90 wrists which means you can easily wear it until your lvl 99 and can afford tt99. There's tt90 gold wrist with 0.10 int, but you can't sell it.
    And why not go with normal wrist with 0.05? if you want to get aps, don't you want to get as much as possible aps? Might as well invest in something you can resell later since you'll need to get yourself more expensive gear at lvl 100+ to make aps even worth while.

    Of course it doesn't matter if you power level yourself up :P

    For the OP's question, I have more to expound on.

    I have a set of HA -0.05 blue 2 star wrists for my BM and Barb, and had a set of blue two star -0.05 LA wrists as well...

    The biggest problem that you get with the drop -int wrists, or crafted -int wrists, is that most of them only have one or two of the MDef types. My HA wrists only have Wood and Metal resistances, which is awesome if I'm tanking say Zimo, but it makes it nearly impossible to tank Qianji with them on. Once you find a set of LA wrists with all 5 resistances and -0.05 int, you run into the next problem, sockets. Both my HA and LA -int wrists had 0 sockets when I got them. Fantastic, huh? My blood moon wrists had 4 sockets when I got them. They're guaranteed to have at least 2 when you make them, and good chances for 3.

    So, let's say you see a set of level 54 LA wrists on WC, they're purple, 3 star, 4 sockets, have all 5 resistances, and have -int. Depending on your server, you're now looking at 10 mil+ for them, because of how desirable they are. Add in a second -int modifier (I saw one of those on WC on sanct a few weeks ago), +vit, +dex, +PDef, or something else desirable, refine it to +3 or 4, and shard it with G7 shards, and you're looking at something closer to 15 mil. Might be 20 mil if it's -0.10 int total on it. If it had 3 X -0.05 int addons, I have no idea, but that would be extremely expensive and I have never seen one.

    Then you have to look at the stats of it.

    The level 54 LA wrists have 161 PDef for purples. 187 Pdef for the level 64 LA wrists. and 215 PDef for the 74 LA wrists. At level 60, you can get 341 PDef out of Blood Moon bracers. That's a HUGE difference. Even with +Pdef addons, you won't get close to that on level 74 LA wrists that are purple.

    So it comes down to what you want or need. If you can live with -0.05int, waaaay less PDef, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less or even non-existant MDef, then go for the drop or crafted 54/64/74 wrists. I'd suggest avoiding the TT90G wrists at all costs, as I mentioned in the other thread.

    There's no reason why you can't sell it for just as much after you've used it.

    lol I wouldn't buy them becuase they are pointless to really get. But I can see people spending $200 to try and get them.

    I've got a set and every LA-capable character I have over 60 uses them, even my level 95 Sin.

    Show me something that's inexpensive that has -0.10 int, doesn't require TT70, TT80, and gold mats to make, and has 341 PDef. I'm sure there are some -0.10 int OHT wrists floating around, but they sure as hell don't have anywhere near that much PDef. >_>

    they're only pointless to get if you powerlvl straight from 60- to 99+ They're one of my favourite gear pieces as I got them as a gift one day on a BM in a different server at lvl 60 where there was no BH/Hyper/Oracle/anything. They're awesome b:dirty
