I miss my friends ]: (Japan)

I have been trying to find forums for it but I cannot seem to find any. I don't know if it's because nobody knows about it or nobody cares. Some of my friends haven't been able to log into their accounts because they're saying Perfect World INTERNATIONAL wants them to you PW Japan. Is this true? Because if it is I have to say that is HIGHLY unfair. Alot of people put alot of hard work into their characters, make alot of friends they've grown attatched to, have major responsesibilities (being an officer in a guild) and now you're suddenly telling them they have to drop that and go to new servers? That's highly unfair. And what's even MORE unfair is that they can't even log in to state their voices to show how much they don't like it. I have a few friends that are highly upset because of this matter..... Does anyone else agree? I know it's probably because perfect world wants people to use the PW Japan servers but forcing them to is highly unfair especially when this is perfect world INTERNATIONAL. Does anyone else agree?

    Perfect World International is a Trademark of Perfect World Entertainment which is a fully owned subsidiary of chinese developing company. So the titel Perfect World International is missleading because PWE only has the license for the America and Europe. Some zones like malaysia or the phillipines and maybe also japan have their own publishers. I dont know if there is a clause in the license agreement that prevents PWE from accepting customers from regions where another publisher has the license but that would explain why they refuse to offer their services for customers from certain regions if there is another publisher.

    Nevertheless applying such a rule to existing accounts is a very bad idea for the reasons you already came up with. But I guess if PWI did as you said they might have done so to fend off possible lawsuits for damages from the other publisher. Though it is no good idea to fight out such a dispute on the back of the customer since the japanese players who are no longer accepted here are likely to be fed up with the way how the game is run and also wont join the japanese publisher. So in the end just PWE has lost another loyal customer
