Yes I used the search option, but searching on the entire thread setting turned up so many results it would have taken all day to look through all of them to see if they were really about this or not. So I did it by title and the earliest option was over 30 days old, so if there was a thread about this, they didn't use a descriptive title.

Yes I know the reason this supposedly hasn't been done is because of Chinese theme and the white tiger is a symbol of power. Makes sense, we barbs may be made of flesh and blood(pixels) but we're hard as rock.

We have modern day punk clothes, leather biker jackets, a motorcycle mount, you know where I'm going with this.

Chinese mythology theme? PWE obviously doesn't give a damn anymore b:surrender They have trampled on Chinese myths to give players customization options. They might as well give us true forms that match the preset we choose, even if they make it a cash shop item. At least this one isn't some modern day item that completely destroys the feel of the game.

I know this very low-priority issue would be kept alive by some other newb. I'm just boredb:laugh

As I already said PWE has blown the whole Chinese mythology theme excuse by adding modern day items for personal customization.

and the fashion is no excuse, it's very common for theme mmorpgs like this to have modern fashion i can name several but they would just get deleted. changes to the old classes are harder to pull off now that the old devs are gone anyway. the devs are not to keen on messing with the coding for the old races>_>

It's right there in the frequently made suggestions, by the way. You should check there before posting, as those are the suggestions that are made the most often and return tons of results. And I don't think the motorcycles are necessarily mythology blowing, we already have the chrono wheel that acts as a time machine. It's called putting a modern twist on an old story, look how many cinderella reboots there are, but if Cinderella were ever to be changed to a rich girl with all the coolest stuff and a kind stepmother; then it wouldn't be Cinderella and there would be no reason for the story. Even when they put Cinderella in modern times, the core elements of the story remains. She's always being oppressed or stopped in some way, she always dances with her prince and loses an item, and they always find each other anyway. For this mythology, the female turning into a fox is the core element of the werefox. If they changed it, she wouldn't be a werefox anymore. Trueforms are there because of centuries old mythology. Not that I also wouldn't love to change into a bat, or kitty, or a wolf; but I can understand and accept why it won't be changed.

While unlikely to be implemented I do like the idea for untamed characters to transform into the animal they should be. I do play a fox venomancer but I might be more inclined to mess with a barb for a while for the novelty of actually transforming into a lion, wolf, panda, etc.
