Blood moon bracer farming

Hello everyone. Im just curious as to who else has/is trying to farm blood moon bracers. I have been working on them whenever i am on and though i may not be that much...it seems like alot of work. I waited until i hit 80 to start with the silver dragon orders so i can have the best dmg and aps for my lvl without a tome. Even with 2x drops it takes 2hrs plus to get these orders.
So who else has farmed these and how do you feel about your invested time. Also any intersting stories, helpful tips, or words of encouragement welcomed.
A nice little break from the qq and whining on the forums ehh.

in all honesty, for ur current lv working on gear that is 20 lvs below u own seems kind of like a waste.
i dont see why you wouldnt try to lv up to 90 and get the TT90 Gold General's Bracers which would probably last u till you got TT99 / help in farming your TT99."Common sense isn't so common anymore." ~ Yusiong - Lost City

Nice thought...
TT90 Gold bracers require a TT80 souledge. TT80 bracers require a TT70 souledge.
So, you have to farm TT70 wrists, decomp them, make TT80 wrists, decomp them, find the gold mats for TT90G wrists (which even during 2x I coudln't find for sale, and after a bunch of 3-1 and 2-3 runs, I never saw one drop myself), then it depends on if you have tailor 6, which not a lot of people actually have. >_>
Then you look at the actual item itself.
282 PDef, 440 MDef, -0.10 int, Str +7~8, Water resistance +342. Compare to Blood Moon wrists:
199 PDef, 310 MDef, -0.10 int, Dex +3~4, PDef +142.
You get about double the stat points on the TT90G wrists, there's the same -int, but Blood Moon has 341 PDef, and TT90G has 282 PDef.
TT90G are bound on equip, Blood Moon are not; Unless you use a binding charm, you can sell or resell them when you are finished with them, move them to an alt even if it's on another account, or give them to your faction as a donation.
I have a set of Blood Moon wrists. I use them on my 95 Sin, 94 Archer, and 76 BM. I've considered TT90G, but the stats are better for PDef on Blood Moon wrists, and I don't really want to make TT80 LA wrists anyway.
They're worth the time it takes to make, even at level 80. If you're 100+, there's better gear you should already have by then. I'm going to use mine until 99, which is when I will get TT99G wrists, instead of wasting a LOT of time and effort making TT90G wrists. Since I don't want to make TT70, then 80, then 90G, then 90, then 99G...101 Sage Sin*/Archer
100 Demon BM*/Barb
96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
95 Demon Wiz/
94 Sage Veno
85 Psy/80 Mystic
And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

When I decided that I finally wanted to play my sin, it's the first thing I started farming. There aren't many sellers of silver orders, and I was unwilling to buy them for more than 900k-1mil and the only ones who pmed me were people who wanted to rip me off by charging 3 mil or overcharged at 1.5k. Which was good for me, because that meant I was forced to do the work even when I was getting frustrated as I farmed them without 2x drops. It took me about 3 weeks to farm them, and I must admit I cheated on the last 6 orders and bought them because I kept getting gold orders and at that point I rage quit the dq quest. Haha. Still though, they were well worth the effort. They are cheap to make four socket even if they don't come out that way, the have better p.def than the tt90 golds, and I'll be able to put them on alts and resell them. They have really come in handy and saved my butt a lot of times. Having the max aps you can have for a level 60 besides the tome, is pretty fun too. It also gives you an early test of aggro control before it becomes a big deal in squads. While sometimes I was bored to tears, sometimes I really frustrated, and sometimes just hearing the words dq quest brings tears to my eyes. I am ultimately really glad that I did grind them. They very much were worth the effort. I also got to say, I've never felt happier over getting any armor in game than when I feel did get the bracers and it was in my inventory. b:pleasedb:victory[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Thank you to you both. Now i would like to point out that although i may be a lvl80 sin that this is not my first nor am i a newbie. What i would like to point out is that what ms. Feline pointed out is 100% correct. Ive done my research and know what i want and exactly what i need to get there.
I know there are higher lvl bracers that may be equal or higher to what i want...but i level slow. I like it that way. I dont care if it takes me a year to get to 90. I have my own fun with this lil game. However im no idiot and know what im doing. I will hit 90 in no time and not pay a dime because people are good **** and ive been playing longer than alot of people who have 5 chars my lvl or higher and yet ive been playong a year longer....that doesnt bother me. I can frc/glitch if i want to but **** that. This is a game i like to..MESS around on as it is my first and only comp. game.
Back on point. I know there are better options with better stats and refines. Honestly i seen a pair of 54(i think) bracers with 2x -.05 int bracers going for about 6 mil on archo server. Ive just been working hard on blood moons and am asking of others stories who have earned them. Not bought them but actually farmed them. I dont care if you bought some of the blood, mats, even a few copper/silver dragon orders. It sucks having to finish all dragon quests for the orders...i dont bloam3e you. Im just curious of your experience. Mine has beeen a ride. im sure others has been as well.
Bracers of blood moon can and will last you until endgame gear for aps players. So share some insight for those thinking of this piece of armor. It would have saved me lots of time searching have these bracers been talked about in the last 1-2 years.Tadpole_ FTW0
