I've never found it particularly useful for the chi cost. If you plan on going demon, then it becomes VERY useful, since damage doesn't interrupt the seal like it does sleep, and it no longer reduces your attack/heal power. =) Otherwise, I wouldn't bother with it personally.

it has its uses, pretty much on melee classes tho. its great to pin them in place and hammer on them so you dont start taking hits as fast but it tends to be for only a short time. in pve, i like to use it on harpies in frost for the other people to hit it when its on the ground, just so it doesnt fly back up. i use chromatic seal a lot more, so its up to you, try it out a little and see if you use it a lot. i didnt max mine til the early 9x's

It's a great skill but it's practical uses are somewhat limited. Max it, but make sure that your high priority skills are maxed first.

I mostly use it to seal melee classes out of range so i can put some distance between us, pop a heal or two/let my charm tick and put up my defense spells. So yes it is useful, but i wouldn't focus on it if your strapped for cash/spirit, and if you dont pvp much i would really leave it till almost last lol.
Yeah my sig doesn't match my name...i would say im being all clever and trying to confuse people...but im really just too lazy to make a new one

At 80 Maxed Razor Feathers and Wield Thunder are quite useful. Tempest should be left for later imo (its for useful for PVP but thats my view)

Demon Silent Seal is just scary should your anti-stuns be on cooldown.

I still have mine left at level 1 because personally I have never found any use for it.

I'm not maxing that skill until I get the demon book for it.

It's a great skill if you PvP... especially if you are demon, as was said previously.

    I love my silent/sleep seals.

Here's an example of why - I'm soloing say a mid lvl bh for some faction mates and there is a group of 3-4 mobs. I sleep 1 silence 1 and then can kill the others that come after me and pick off the slept and silenced one as they recover.

    It's a great tactic.

What's that you say, not soloing anything, well you can still use the skills the same way for your squad mates. Sleep 1 silence 1 and let the squad take out the remaining then finish those 2 off. Very useful skills if you don't have a pull genie or if you just want to reduce the number of people you have to heal cause no barb or barb doesn't hold argo.

Then go sage, the advantage is usually pretty overexaggerated between demon and sage seal. Sage seal increases the duration which means not only do you have a chance to keep em stuck for a while, but it's more likely to proc for a duration longer than a second. Also, sage purify is pretty much instantaneous. Well as close to it as possible, since you'd mostly use this skill for kiting you should have time to purify yourself. Now with pvp, those extra seconds equals very little time saved at all, from what i've read. I don't have a demon/sage cleric to test this out 100x times so I can't be sure. Just going by what i've been told on the actual irl combat time saved. But the difference is not so huge that you shouldn't go sage just because of the seal. If your preference is sage, there is nothing wrong with sage.
