Developers don't care, we already knew this, but in your case, it would seem blacklisting yourself from this game and these forums would do you a lot of good given the non-stop whining in the last year or two for things you already very well know aren't going to change. Apparently you are happy the way is PWI going. I'm NOT. That's why I'm whining. I saw PWI as perfect game at beggining. You haven't read any of my posts then, especially the ones you responded to and quoted btw saying you agreed with, by suggesting the naive and highly convenient straw man remark that I'm happy with the way PWI is going. This does not address the fact that you have been doing nothing but whining about things you and everyone else know won't change. PWI's direction was very clear in summer 2009 when they went down the path of outright selling gear in the cash shop, and you've been complaining non-stop saying PWI is dead and falling since spring/summer 2010. Here we are days from Fall 2011 and you're still saying it. Unfortunately you seem way too hooked/addicted to simply be trolling, despite the obvious troll in your name, so the advice to block yourself from this game still stands. Personally I consider PWI to be on a slow-acting downward spiral from which it can never fully recover at this point. There ARE certain problems they can fix now to stabilize themselves temporarily, but unless they remove rep from the CS and rollback everyone who purchased it. IF... and that's a HUGE if... they can survive the ensuing QQ tsunami, the game might have a chance at being balanced again. But even I know they'll never rollback r8, hence the downward spiral. -_-

Lets go back to the beginning of the game. There was a time when TT and Legendary gear was the best available. Anything above tt90 was almost unattainable without spending real money.
As I posted in another post:
Its like the release of a new car. Only those who can afford the new car will buy it, the rest of the people will wait for the value to go down to try and purchase it. This happens in REAL LIFE why would you expect that aspect to be any different in a game? Those who can afford the best of the best get it first, later; the price drops and the rest of the people can afford it. R8 used to be the best, then Nirvana, then R9. If they don't continue to come out with better stuff, making everything old, cheaper.. the game will surely die. High lvls have no new gears to work toward, and low lvls have no hope of ever getting anything decent.
In short; this has to happen for the release of R10 and a higher lvl cap. However; they really need to make Nirvana gears tradeable and R8 and R9 need to be account stashable. Too much money is spent on them to not be able to do anything else with them. Which is why there will be many who would rather +11 and +12 their stuff than to buy R10.
In short; out with the old and in with the new. It has to happen; higher lvls need not only more content to not be bored, but also new gears and goals to work toward as well.0 -

Rank gear has gotten cheap, rank 9 has came, nirvana gear has came, yet we have the same old dungeons/content. Yes, they did increased the difficulty in tt but cmon it isnt really that harder, and what's the point of doing tt when you have rank 9/nirvana gear, no point in farming for low hh60-99 gear. Also its still just the same old dungeon.
Nirvana can be done in mere minutes, and frost and the bhs are a joke challenge wise0 -

I agree. Imagine if there were very challenging instances for 100+. For starters they wouldnt complain - they now have something to do, and if it was pk enabled it would be even better.
The problem - what would the rewards be?
Off the cuff (havent given this much thought) but imagine a sandbox instance. Hugely difficult, but the rewards could be you get materials or something and can slowly build you're own place. I bet a lot of R9's and Nivana guru's would love the spires of their own building to grace the landscape. This wouldnt hurt anyone else either. Just a thought...0 -
