RB Issue

I went with a squad just a few mins ago to do RB up to wave 2 for BH.

We squaded up, buffed and gave BM lead and went inside.

Upon entering, we all got timers to port us out.

Squad chat wasn't working, and we couldn't even leave the squad.

We all had to relog into the game.

We are about to try to go in again, anyone else experience this issue/glitch?

Let me rephrase this.. I've had this happen in the past where I've ported into an instance and received a timer. At which time I dropped squad they added me back and all was fine. This however; happened to the entire squad. Everyone who went in got a timer, everyone who went in couldn't talk in squad chat, and every one who went in had to relog. I've seen it happen to just 1 person .. as you have described. But never to an entire squad of ppl.

I have played this game since December of 2008. I have many other toons, and I have never once, not even one time seen it happen. I'm not disputing that it can happen, just that I personally have never seen it in almost 3 years of playing.

Ive had it happen a couple of times before. In FC and I think Seat of Torment.

Its incredibly rare, I think the server forgets to create a new instance for you, dumps you in one that isnt yours (Or at least, isnt labelled as yours) then realises and ports you out. I wouldnt worry about it, I dont think its a bug, just a connection bumped and lost something important.

I had this happen multiple times in FB/BH caves. The person affected by it see themselves in squad but gets a timer. Your squad mates see you left. lol
But I never heard of any case where it affected more than one person at the same time b:shocked

No, what you described just there is a different thing. Im talking about what you are talking about : Complete squad dismissal without it being dismissed. It happens, You all get killed from squad and disowned by the instance.

Its something to do with the server and is so rare that you shouldnt worry about it. That said, feel free to go on about it, it can line up after the 3000 bugs that affect people on a daily basis.

The more common one-person thing is an erronous packet from a persons client being read as a drop squad, but the client doesnt think it sent it so you look like your in squad despite not being. Up until it recieves the timer commands.

Right, I get what you are saying. But it happening to the entire squad is not "normal". Something wasn't right, and since I'm not a good computer techie guru, I've no idea what. I just wondered if it was just isolated that it happened to just 1 squad, or if anyone else game wide has had this same thing happen.

If I had to guess, I'd say the game had a problem communicating with the squad leader's computer for some reason, thus starting the instance failed, but that's just a guess.

I haven't seen that happen myself though.

That might explain why it happened to the entire squad, not sure. Hopefully if someone else has had this occur they will post it.

Sarrafeline - Sanctuary

This happened to me two days ago going into BH39, in fact.

I was in my own instance, with my own mobs, yet the squad lead was right next to me. I couldn't see them, squad chat didn't work, and I coudln't quit squad.

I ended up just closing the client and doing something else for the rest of the day.
