I Need Tips on How to Use Salvation

I started this Mystic currently lvl 57 and am enjoying it so far. Up until now I have been mainly using the Devil and Storm.

But I decided to test out Salvation and was surprised at how effective the shield was when I energy leeched it. I was hoping to use it as a personal healer if I tanked, but there doesn't seem to be a way to make Salvation auto shield me while I'm targeting a mob. Am I missing something? Instead she starts attacking the mob, which I presume does little to no damage.

Also, when I get to harder bosses like Wyvern and Pole, at what level can I be the solo healer for the squad if a Cleric is not present? I presume Salvation on the MT is part of the key to handling those Bosses?

That's why in PK noob mystics buff their enemy LOL

It's not about level imo. You can be lvl 100 vit mystic and cant heal as much as an 80 pure.
To solo heal pole, your gonna need to be pure mage in the 7x/8x, Vit mages AND ESPECIALLY LIGHT ARMORS my level cant solo heal.
To solo heal wyvern, not so much harder.

Since you can't purify, its up to spam heal/petals/plants... and throwing a sally shield when ya can helps.

I've been able to solo heal pole/nob/frag/whole big room of mobs/goons

To use Salvation's Shields on you, you must be targeted. Remeber you can use tab to target the nearest enemy after so you don't have to click them with the mouse.

I mostly use Devil for spread out mobs while questing and doing instances. I use Salvation while solo questing or farming if the mobs are long ranged or magic attackers. The problem with Devil and Archer mobs is that once they start running the Devil runs after them and may aggro more mobs. With Salvation i buff myself with her shield and take out all those long range freaks. One thing to keep Salvation from attacking is to leave her on Standby and set her Manual that way she does't go off attacking or randomly buffs you or uses up mana. By the way i solo healed BH51 the other day on my lvl 61 Mystic. Fushma was really easy, Rankar was a little tough, Wyvern i had to be careful and heal like mad, but in the end it was all good. If you wanna Solo heal be prepared to use up alot of mana,mana charms, or mana pots. Hope this helps

steps to use salvation correctly:

step 1: summon salvation

step 2: transfer mana to salvation and heal her up

step 3: put salvation from auto attack to manual

step 4: click on your portrait

step 5: click on one of the buffs for salvation

step 6: ????

step 7: profit.
