R8 vs R9 Bow + Ring

If I were to get 300k Reputation and purchase only the Rank 9 ring and bow, would I see a staggeringly amazing difference in my PvP/PvE damage? By how much will it outshine the Rank 8 bow? And if it's an extremely significant jump, what's the estimated cost for just the ring and bow?

    i dont know but you cant use the +275 attack charm on rank 9. And you can use it on rank 8. just putting that out there.

    Your costs are going to depend on when you buy it, and your opportunity costs when it is relatively cheap are going to be much higher than its list price (you will probably have to give up on some other good deals).

    That said, it's a bow with a built in jones blessing, and this effect stacks with a real blessing. It also purges.

    I made a spreadsheet, but here are the values from my recollection.

    With gold at 1.3m, I think it was about 1.9b for full R9.

    Ring + Bow, I think, is around 700m.

    the bow alone is 525 gold, and the ring is another 220, + 36 to get the 100k rep.


    Against fully buffed opponents, the rank 9 bow is a massive advantage. Looking at average dmg only, the rank 9 bow loses 4-5% crit, but refines better and gives you 30 atklvls, wich, if you had a jones blessing already equipped, would add about 23% dmg (against people with no def lvls).
