This has got to be the dumbest idea i have seen. I have people in my guild that left your PVP server just because of this. Low levels need a safe way through to get to other quests they have in secret poassage. Instead of high levels killing each other in SP, it is mass mayhem on anyone of any level that steps in there.
This is disgusting behavior and should be stopped. Low levels should not have to run a gauntlet of level 100 predators to do their basic quests. Give them another place to go. make then a town or something, to practice killing each other " safely", but don't frustrate lower levels because some higher level jerk wants to flex his muscle and show how "tough" he is by killing defenseless level 30. Get a grip PWI when level 100 would pk each other in there it was fine. Who's bright idea was it to allow this. This is nothing but a show case for "pwi bullies".

On Topic~ while I have not been personally effected by this when escorting people through SP on sanc, I do understand that people on pve servers are taking this change a little...crazily. Lets hope that the GMs tell the devs to, at the very least, change it so that those below 30 cannot be killed. At the most, I'd rather they move this change to some other location, or MAYBE open up the old arena for these sorts of things.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Lower levels will become aggravated and quit because some higher level jerks won't let them do their culti quests.. I hope a lot of people quit PWI because so many things are so RIDICULOUS anymore..

ok i get that they want a place to kill each other for jollies but not if your on a PVE server.
would that rule still apply in a PVE environment?
further shouldn't it be banned if your on that type of server?
I have an entire faction that left lost city because none could advance beyond 30 every time we went to level we got killed by a high lever R-tard that was spanking it to his kill count of newly ganked players whal camping at the quest locations.
I have worked hard on the toons i have now and dont play this game to kill other players.
if people want to kill each other that's what the PVP servers are for.
Several of the high level jack holes are quoted saying " if you don't like us killing you than go to a pve server. otherwise we are going to continue to **** you and your team." we have done that . making the SP a PVP zone is beyond unfair and stupid if it is aloud in a PVE server.0 -

Hey man... I said it ALMOST makes me want to install again. I've been pwi free for over 7 months and proud. And besides the more incentive people give lowbies to leave this ****ty cash cow game the better.
Also when I played Secret passage wasn't really a lowbie pking spot. It was more like a guild verse guild fighting arena where one guild is the king of the hill and the other guild has to successfully rush out of safe and kill everyone. Unless theres a mage who drops a massive aoe behind the wall b:laugh...0 -

Looll you make me laughing... sorry but is almost crazy what are you saying here: in PW don't play only PVP playerssssss!!!!!! wake up, the game is for all not only for high PVP players!!! I am dissapointed about this... You seem to be like Mafia! other great game coming down

I've had a problem with people killing me on sanc server in SP. I was trying to help a friend and couldn't get out of the first room without being killed by someone. This is by far the stupidest idea ever. I don't think just lvl 30 people should be safe, what about the people helping them with a bh or a quest. I'm lvl 76 and I don't want to go in there and get killed while helping a friend. Thats messed up. PWI make a new area thats just like 100acres of flat ground or something so all these people can fight.... make a teleport there or something. Idk about everyone else, but when you first started this game and you had to go into SP to do a quest or a bh, thats probably how you leveled right? well now thats impossible if you die within 5 seconds of going in there. Its going to discourage new people that have just joined the game. They are going to be like wtf? how did I die? then they will go back in there and get killed again and so on.
Anyways I believe PWI should do something about this or make a room for everyone that wants to have a mass killing and if I could, i would put a poll in here to see what everyone else thinks.b:angryb:angryb:angry0 -

even though there is that 2 seconds when it shows you as being in the SP and leaves you susceptible to being killed, illusion stone is (almost) foolproof[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

illusion stone 1st teleports you into sp and then fb, set up aoe and u will kill any1 who will try port into fb. on slower pc i get hit 3-4 times by mob before i get into fb, aoe will kill all low level players who need fb, bh and quests in there
so yeah gotta agree, its dumbest idea ever to make it into pvp zone0 -

I play on a pve server (sactuary), usually on my lvl 70 sin yesterday me and some people from my faction went to kill Silver frost ( the lvl 85 wolf thingy in the secret passage).
i barely made it into the room before being one shot by a lvl 104 archer. THANKS PW im on a PVE server because i want to be owned by high level PVP'ers ... yep, sure.
PW (developers) you are stupid little clowns, for once do some original programming and not just import your whole game from the chinese. also if possible why not use your head for once.

While I agree with you along with the 75% of those who voted in the open poll... PWE has chosen to take a stance to embrace and promote harassment as a viable form of game play in their game. The last actual information we were given was the company didnt find it necessary for anyone to actually go to Secret Passage other then to enjoy their new open PVP instance. Further more they actually feel a group of level 70-80 players should have little trouble taking on a group of 8 or more level 100+ players from the servers top TW faction who enjoys camping the instance. The leaders of this game feel the best introduction into PVP on PVE servers is to let them be continually killed (on purpose) by extremely high level players is a change to encourage players to want to participate in PVP. I must say it really shows in the polls as a clear super majority of players who voted have stated they do not care for the big F.U. PWE has told the dedicated players who CHOOSE a PVE server and wish to complete quests.
I just hope too many people dont pass the word about the poll and stack the deck against this change as its already embarrassing for the company to claim so many people were in favor of this change and yet we have not seen it in the poll.0 -

I'm on a PVE server hun. No they didn't do that. Not that you actually need to use a aoe, if you stand close enough you can just tab and melee them over and over again. Its a bit savage I guess, but thats skill isn't it, auto attacking ppl, where have we seen this before?. Unfortunately for PWI it gets its updates from China and this situation will unfortunately persist for quite some time. People will quit when they realise that they have lost the vast majority of lvl 30 - 40 content including quests lines that begin outside and cannot be completed because it includes interior bosses.
Nice to see some people care enough on here about the players that choose to play for content than noob their way to R9.

Well, guess what? those of you that are complaining have numerous choices.
1. Level up, get geared & join the crowd, it's fun once you open your self-righteously blinded eyes.
2. Don't go into SP, there are no/none/ZERO mandatory quests in there.
3. Shut up, don't complain. You don't throw enough cash at this game to have a say in what you think is justified.

Exactly what the type of response you'd expect from someone that plays a class with 6 Offensive capabilities. Grow up please, this is an alt that doesn't get leveled, I main a Wiz & Barb. Think about your posts before you assume something that isn't as it appears.
And carefully re-read my above post, CAREBEARS, you people will complain about ANYTHING that obstructs your precious PvE.

There's only about 4 quests in total that involve Secret Passage. If you need FB/BH 29 then you can simply use the Illusion Stone. 5k is easy to come across at any level so people that use "but what about FB29!!!!!" as an excuse for why PvP in SP is bad should just shut it.
Of the quests you need to go through SP for none of them are important to the game aside from Silver Frost. The quests that you do in there give little xp and one could easily make the xp gained from them up with an Oracle II which costs maybe 20-30k depending on where you buy them. It sucks that some people get killed when they're after Silver Frost but I'm not entirely sure why by the time they hit 70 they don't have higher level friends that could come protect them and kill Silver Frost as well. So uh... yeah.. unless you're a friendless lowbie that can't afford Hypers you should really stop whining. I mean seriously.. you're whining about like.. 30k xp worth of quests and Silver Frost... you don't even need OHT access until you're going for your Celestial cultivation... which would require being level 100 and I'd hope you could make it through by that level.
Anyway.. the point is... stop whining about SP, it's not a necessity aside from Silver Frost if you're actually gonna become a Celestial. Sooo yeah..... calm the ef down already people.0 -
Zan baby a sin high enough lvl can waltz through to the illusion teleport in point right in front of the gate and kill anybody stoning in and if they are smart they would use a fast aoe just incase ppl get the idea to stone in simultaneously to avoid attacks.
Pretty sure FB29 is important, game might suck otherwise.

Over $100 to PvE? You got ripped off, make a BM or Sin & sell frosts or run NV.
A simple few $100 doesn't make you a major contributor, it just makes you look like a lazy carebear.
Your comments are meaningless **** referring to how OP you think a Sin is, I stated in my last post that i DO NOT main a Sin, I sell frosts, that is all.
As for your excuse "without fb29 the game would be ****", Illusion stone can help you there, as several people have stated.0 -

As for this, you're assuming that I'm an auto-attacker. You couldn't be MORE wrong.
I utilise the skills I have available & more often then not, kill 10x Sins in their full APS gear.

I did baby a sin, got him to 101 then made him my main after the removal of cancel casting :P As for killing someone in the way you mentioned... that'd be pretty hard, unless it was a Wizard or Seeker being a jerk but someone nice could always go interrupt/kill them.
Also, to the Stacy is arguing with... I spent 120 bucks over my 2 and a half years of playing PWI. I farmed the rest, I have about a billion in gear on Dreamweaver and about about... 300m or so on Lothranis without any cash shopping whatsoever... umad?0 -
