    broken? broken how?

anyway: have the wand equipped in your inventory, then go to a merchant, click "goods", then click the button labeled "repair all". that should fix it (for a fee).

if you can't equip the wand, then something else is wrong and you'll have to describe the situation in more detail.

Sounds like you need to go to any NPC merchant, click "Repair" and click your wand. Items have an inherent durability that goes down the more they are used (weapons) or the more you are hit (armour).

I think that her/his wand it's shattered (that's how it's call it?), you now, when the durability (?) falls to 0 and you can't repair it anymore (I'm not sure about this never happened to me b:chuckle)

In that case you have to "repair" it at an elder using mirages or chi stones.

But is not worthy if you have a low level wand, just buy a new one from the blacksmith lol.

    hope this helps!

PS: if you have more doubts use the search option and if you don't find anything or the answer does not satisfy you feel free to ask! there is alot of good people in the forums to help you (and some trolls aswell).

    have fun! b:victory

EDIT: Just in case: By any chance you are not hitting the mobs with your wand, don't you?
It's kinda strange that your weap it's completly broken if you use your magic spells.

Correct me if I am wrong as my memory is poor, but a shattered item is not "broken," it clearly says "shattered."

Yep it will say "shattered" if you equipment is shattered..

Armor or Weapons are "Broken" when durability reaches zero, while a "shattered" peace of equipment occurs only during pking and if you are pink-blood red there's a chance of your equipment to be "shattered" and you have to pay some mirage stones to fix it.

you can repair an item with durability = 0?

where the hell I got the idea that you always should avoid to broke your equipment?
    (that's a question for myself b:chuckle)

you can still do it O.o it's just like a normal repair...ofc costs a bit more because it's got lower durability

your weapon will still wear down even if you're just casting spells...otherwise magic classes would never need to repair their weapon eh?

Assuming the identical gear, it makes no real difference if you repair every time it dips under 50 to when it gets to zero. You waste the same money over time.

Yeah I know that, I was just saying that is trange that the weapon gets broken so fast (at that lower levels).

I have understood that magic weapons "last longer" than melee, I don't know if it's because you need less hits to do the job or because magic degrades less the weapon that a "smash"...

or is just another idea I got from who knows where b:surrender

I certanly don't remember repairing my gear at that lower levels (I started at 20-ish or something).

And is good to know that you can repair a 0 durability item. You always learn something new.

    Thanks!

well right now you don't have many choices hahaha

Plume shot and cyclone for damage and blessing of the purehearted for healing till you get ironheart blessing at level 6 and wellspring surge at level 9 (this two kinda replace the first one).

sadly your next attack spell you gonna get it at level 16 and is very awfull b:sad

check this to know about your skills (spells):

For skills, I'd stop learning Blessing of the Purehearted now. Save your spirit for Ironheart at level 6.

For the banker in Plume, there are two. Easiest way to find them is learn to use your maps auto-path feature.

The map in the top right corner has an arrow pointing at a + button on the lower right edge. Click that and a list of all the npcs (non player characters, or game characters) nearby will pop up. Find the Banker in that list and double click it to move it over to your 'Target' list. Double click it in the Target List and your character will automatically run towards it as well as a location dot appearing on your map. To delete click the green box in the bottom right corner.

Anyone have the guide for newcomers made my NightDream? That'd probably really help. I'll hunt for it and try to edit it in. Edit: http://www.the-wild-hunt.org/Guide.pdf Here it is. Easier to find than I thought. It's a very useful guide but very... thorough. It covers everything in the game.

    Hi
If I delete my avatar and create a new one: can I restart the quests and can I use the name again
    * Do not mind restarting since I am new ... not much to lose

It takes a week to delete a character but once its deleted you can reuse the name yes. and when you do switch to a US server, if you're in Europe be sure to pick an east coast server for lower ping.
