if they do character data transfer or add our character make,level,gear/refines to the next installment of this game ill buy something.
if they make refines and gems etc more plentiful in the raid bosses ill buy something.if they put more content in game pvp/pve better graphics,ill buy somethin in game.
cause if its not this way then i cant afforrd to spend 100 grand on part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4 part 5

"Keeps it free to play". That implies that the money spent on this game by gamers is then used to do stuff like pay the game's bills, pay the Devs, and pay for other mundane things like that.

Then, the rest of this huge wad of cash goes to the staff, Devs, marketing team, etc. Basically the employees and Wanmei. What happens to this money?

What would be REALLY NICE would be to see the money used to develop a new graphics engine (this one is from like 2006 or 2007, if not older), a new, user-customizable UI, maybe, just ****ing MAYBE fix some of the bugs taht hvae been around since 2010, if not the ones from 2009, or even 2008, and perhaps introduce some new content, and the best idea of all, hire a few GM's to monitor the actual in-game content (like, maybe World Chat, some spots where people glitch a lot, etc.)

Instead, this money is going towards making movies and other stuff that has nothing to do with what you spent the money on, and will in now way, shape, or form influence or help the game itself in the future.

So, if you think that by putting $6,000 into this game over 12 months you're 'keeping this game Free for everyone to play!' as a means of justification, you're basically flushing $6,000 down the toilet every year. Instead, you should see a therapist, buy something from your own country to support your local economy, or start a savings account for when the global economy's **** hits the fan.

I am not a cashshopper, by any means. I do occasionally charge zen and get stuff from the boutique, yes (not that its anyones busniess, but usually to gamble on packs) But by the definition you all use for 'cashshopper' then no, I am not.

What I don't get is if someone has $6000 to dump into a game if they want to....WHY DO YOU CARE?
Thats a lot of money to me, as I'm sure it is to you....but to some people its loose change. Why is there an obsession over what people spend, how much and why on this damn game? Are you this obessively concerend with the forms of entertainment your neighbours buy and what they spend on it? If he goes out and buy a $5000 monstrosity of a TV, you gonna go tell him that Sony/Samsung/whoever is just gouging him and he wasted his money? And then lecture him on local economics and how he should make a savings account? NO. So why do people do it here?

This is the point. There's heavy cashshoppers. Its their money. Its noones business what,why or how they can spend so much. Stop QQing because someone else has more money than you, which is the base issue in these threads.

Why does everyone throw out this argument?

People are complaining because it's unbalanced, and this is a game. And yeah, it's someone else buying ****, but this people play MMOs for a reason, unless you people go solo grinding 10 hours a day on your venomancer.

CSing kills PvP...which in turn makes it no fun for you.

It would be different if this game was completely solo-pve oriented (i.e. not an MMORPG)

It's like, you choose to miss the entire point of all these complaints on the forums, no one gives a damn about how much they can spend on a game, seriously, no one cares, what we actually do care about though, is what's available to those that do, example being rank 9 and the ability to +12 your gears, do you grasp the problem yet?

People compete in this game, even if it's low level crappy competition. Money ruins this and brings a giant **** YOU finger to F2P players

I do get the point.
High-end items are available to those who have the money to spend on them. Which is just like real life.
Whats funny is that there are people who are full nirvana/rank9 and have this gear who also have not spent anywhere near the amounts of real life money that others do. They worked, farmed, catshopped and played the sales/market for it. But you all seem to miss that point. That if you want it too, you can earn it.

Same could be said for time spent on the game or how good of a merchant they are. People like JanusZeal just like to finger point and blame others for their fail. Blaming cash shoppers is just simple minded.

Yeah, that's legit, but arguably the majority of people with super high end gear have csed those items. In-game equipment should be available with in-game work, not outside influences.

Right now theres a division between F2P and P2P players. Yes, some dedicated F2P players have gotten to high levels without mass hyper/csing and stuff and look like P2P players.
