Mana consumption issue
Hello fellow clerics
Timing the spells manually is not always easy, so macros do come in handy.
However, I noticed that my cleric often casts a spell although the enemy is dead.
The system message then says that the spell was canceled but the mana gets deducted anyway.
This happens 3 out of 4 times. It's an accumulating waste of loads of mana.
Same goes for the cases where I press a spell button too long (whatever too long may be for the system); it happens there, too.
This issue does not occur with my Mystic, and neither with my Magician, so I really doubt it's lag or something.
Has anyone noticed something similar and/or has some insight?
Help would be most appreciated.

Eh it's always been the case. It definitely used to happen to me on my wizard and archers always shoot one more arrow/shot/bolt than required as well.Proving that not only archers do math since 2009. b:victory

Some spells/projectiles have a 'Travel Time'. One the plus side they won't agro the mob unit they hit. Down side being the next skill/attack might be fired off after they're 'dead' but before the shot hits. Hence why Plume-Cyclone is better than Cyclone-Plume, Plume won't agro the mob until after the cast, which at distance means it takes as long to get there as Cyclone takes to channel.
VERY annoying for Archers though. Especially when you get 2 8/10/20k crits back to back when the mob has >2k HP left0 -
