Rank 9, +10 to everything, Full charms, 100/100 genie, 5.0 APS, and anything else you can think of that you can spend your hard earned cash on.

In reality, at the very least, you probably should be 99 so that you can have the TT 99 gold for the int bonuses, and deicides.

Realistically its only worth it for sins. Otherwise there is too much charm **** for it to payoff and many of the bosses purge or self amp. Some will 5 aps buff themselves, which is basically unsurvivable. I'd recommend duoing with a Sin.

And its kind of hard to say "what gear is needed" because the real question is more about how well you can use your class and that gear. I'd recommend 12 k unbuffed minimum, +8 weapon with 4 aps, 3.33 if sage. Cleric buffs and bloodpaint are needed.

Even then you'll have to know boss shouts and timing and be experienced enough to spark through boss purges to keep your paint. And some bosses just aren't soloable as a BM without a blue bubble, imo.
Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory

a good BM with decent gear (I only had mix of 99, event and NV with HH100 fists) can solo all bosses in there even without ep buffs and BP... I have had to on occassion when party has got wiped but ya I would agree that for a BM it is not worth the effort... to much of a charm **** to make it cost effective.

In addition to Sins, Claw/Fist Barbs seem to be able to run those TT instances solo easily too. Their invoke skill (reduce damage by 90 %) plus having much higher HP than your typical BM makes the job easier for them. The good thing about Barbs is that they can share the same gear your BM wears so if you are indeed looking to solo TT 3-x (and are not interested in going the sin route), you should consider leveling one alongside your BM too.
