Hi, I would like to make a statement in my capacity as Marshal in Renegades regarding the previous couple of TW bids.
I am disappointed and apologize about the turnout of less than 6 people from our faction.

I personally feel that it is in error for our leader Whiptress to be bidding again until we can get serious attendance during TW times, especially when he has to be at work during that time.

That being said I don't think the intent is malicious or in bad faith, but rather an extreme error in judgment.

I would like to apologize to the members of Kindred who wanted a challenging TW and are disappointed, if I could clone myself and our top members 80 times over and bring them all I would.

There are many great players in Renegades, we are just severely lacking in attendance when it's time for TWs and im hoping Whiptress will take a break on bidding until this is remedied.

I'm in Kindrid, but I was also unable to attend the past two TWs, though I did hear about them. I will make sure to pass the message on to Obly in the event no one else from faction has read this yet.

And I understand your sentiments. I think our whole server would love it if every TW was 80v80, but such is not the case :/

Sometimes its hard to understand why small faction wants to tw so badly even if they are geting overrolled in few minutes. If u really wanna challenging and maybe fun tw - join with bigger faction.

Maybe some can't because the factions are already maxed in certain classes, maybe some just can't get in, or just don't want to leave their friends in their current faction.

Besides all factions were small once and had to learn somewhere.

so its better to have 5 min tw? and i think tw factions like regenesis, intandem, spades and :3 got theire numbers and strength pretty fast. seems that low level factions are living in dream that they can become good tw faction, but all they do is losing some high lvl members to real tw factions.

want some action, go to pk mode with faction and try to kill something in OT

All factions start out small. Not every faction is like Regen or IT with their unnatural overnight growth from non-existent to one of the top factions on the server due to the disbanding of past factions. Normally factions start out small, slowly growing in number and leveling at the same time. Around the time they hit level 3 the faction members start to get interested in TW and some members push to start doing it. This to some is the deciding moment for the faction where it'll be decided whether the faction will become a prominent power on the TW playing field or a stop-over/feeder faction for other powerful factions. Earlier in the servers timeline these TW's were not so short but now it isn't a big surprise when these are 5 min of pure ownage. It's the factions who persist who still have a chance of making it on the TW scene. Week after week of grueling TW sometimes pays off like in the case of Tempest, Vanquished, Kindred, etc. who all did leave quite a big mark on the map in their time as a TW powers. It is not right to say that new factions have no hope of growing to be big players in the TW game and therefore should just join up with big factions.

Also TW is not the be all and end all for most factions. Some are just a group of friends or some philanthropic people who wish to help other players grow. Sometimes these kind of factions try their hand at TW and get rolled as expected. It's not a crime to try.

:3 and Spades where by and large PK factions and recruited many players who were PVP oriented. This being said they were around for quite a while before they went in TW-ing and by then they had quite a few players with prior TW experience. Factions normally start out PVE based, seeing as this is a PVE server and later go on to PVP as a faction.

All in all, just want to say don't diss people on the way they go about running their own factions, everyone has a different reason for doing something in a different way. Not everyone likes to sell out to the big factions, some like being the under dogs who work their way up and make a name for themselves.

The Art of War - The General once had to demonstrate to a King that he could make an army out of anyone - and so the King instructed him to make an army out of his ... wives.

The General choose the favorite two wives to lead two teams. And he demonstrated for them, asked them if they understood how to drill their teams. They said yes.

He then said 'tell them to do this and this and that'. Both of the women giggled, their teams giggled and the General had them (the two wives that were leading the team) executed.

The King was livid but allowed the General to go on.

The General then choose two other favorites of the King and they now lead two teams.

He did the same - he demonstarted and said now tell them to do same.

The women barked commands and the teams did everything they said. The General then told the King he now had a fit army.

He also told him "When the General gives clear orders, and the Officers fail to follow - then it is the fault of the Officers".

But When the General does not give clear orders - and the Officers fail to follow - it is the fault of the General".

So I then ask - what was done by the Leader, the Director and the Officers to ensure more people showed up? And that will show you to where the blame lies.

This is the Leader of the Faction Renegades

I WILL NOT apologise for bidding on TW, when I asked members what they wanted to do.

I am assuming Kindrid wernt sorry that we bid on them, it kept other stronger factions off their back when they were down to one or two territories.

A couple of weeks when 6-8 regulars say at last minute, I cant make it, well not much I can do. Members made the decision on wanting to go to TW, and TW is FUN!!! anyone ever forget fun???

We were the only faction willing to go to TW and actually put up a fight for months on end when every other faction thought it was "too hard and too tough" to fight the main land owners

When I was training ours, and when we had 30-40 people online we did actually take land after map resets.

I kept to my resolution which was to give members fun each week, whilst training them for TW. (and yeah, we did win some! totally outnumbered and totally outlevelled, and lasted longer they any other opponents who put out the same turnout)

Yes, its not only the leaders job to get people to TW every week, it is a team effort.

I ran this faction for about three years.

I was about to hand the faction over to the officers who helped, with all the spoils that were in the faction. But to those who Backstabbed us and left and took members. Just remember Karma! lol.

To those people who had fun whilst i was there, to all the people who we helped get gear for no return, and to those loyal people I kept coming back week after week to help lead.
I did have fun guys, i enjoyed being there for the people and you never know, i might be back!

We had a great family, a family that had fun, a family that never gave up, and a family that stood up for the little guy. Wouldnt tolerate people who abused others and ripped others off.

In case I get some adverse comments from a couple of individuals, a DONATION is a DONATION, never should a loan expected to be returned when someone says, "it is yours, do what you want with it, actually use some yourself" (which I never did, money is still in the bank. and i will use it for the faction if I ever resurrect it)
