Worth Switching to Rep??

Recently I checked out the R8 and R9 Gear, and it seemed really good. I also heard it was expensive but my question is would be wise trying to get R8 and possibly R9 at my level, or just go with TT and Nirvana and such. The R9 gear seems really good, and I heard it always gets 4 sockets so thats a plus. The only bad thing I heard about it is that it can't be account stashed, but other than that would it be worth trying to get at my level, if I haven't been working on any of the earlier rep gear?? b:puzzled

You need to be level 100 and have 200k rep for Rank 8 gear.

For Rank 9 you'd need level 101 and 300k rep.

Rank 9 is VERY expensive. I didn't waste my money on it, Rank 8 was good enough.

For barbs, I've seen half running around in TT and other half Rank 8. Rank 8 would tide you over if you decide on Nirvana and are slow at farming TT90 and TT99 for Nirvana gears later in the game.

Nirvana for your classes gear, some pieces would take 2nd casts just to get the better armor, so if you plan on farming the whole lot yourself it will take awhile.

You won't have to worry about earlier Rank gear. Rank 8 gear is bought at NPCs in 1k streams. No mats required. Just your Rank 8 ring and coin.

Rank 9 is the best gear you can get, but in my option, unless you want to be OP, its not worth it.

I thought about getting R9 due to the high attack and defence levels which really would bring my dmg up as well as defence, but when I ran both R9 and Nirvana Gear i got less overall phys def on the Rank 9. Anyway thx for the input. b:pleasedb:thanks

If you can afford rank 9, get it. There is no comparison between rank 9 and anything else.
