Perfect World Anniversary and new expansion?

Don't get your panties in a bunch right away, this is just discussion. This been very fast year for me and PWI anniversary comes September 2nd (thanks wiki) again! What we can expect? Mount for sure, perhaps fashion, they dont want to waste that, what they might give us this time? There is no website up so far. Now the expansion part, been there done that, and PWE seems to release new expansion every year, announcing few months before release date, will we hear soon about new stuff? I hope there wont be new class, assasins still rule, and both TB and EG are overpowered, i started mystic myself, new race AGAIN would make me ragequit, and lot of other people as well. But they never listen do they? My opinion? Fire protector class, and very soon.
Mystic: 99 lvl (Main)
Psychic: 96 lvl (Alt)
Assassin: 78 lvl (Retired)
Cleric: 75 lvl (Retired)

    Where did you come up with this information? The only class that's even close to being OP from the EG is the Mystic, and they're just like that because of their pets.b:question

    They do, trust me...they do.

    In short, I don't expect an expansion before winter, at the earliest. Even then, that's pushing it with how much unreleased content still exists from the Genesis expansion. We'll see, though...

    They really need to release a damn instance with farm-able gear equivalent to rank 9 that is an upgrade to 2nd cast nirvana. I farmed full nirvana and ill be damned if I'm going to get r9 when I put time into farming so make it upgradeable already b:angry I know the instance is out there (I have my sources) they just need to implement it already. Honestly it would make alot of high lvl players happy something to do again and stuff to look forward to.

    Seekers are kinda OP too! There's a few on my server that can take out full decked out geared sins in pk, I cannot wait til those seekers get r9. Will be fun to watch. xD

    But yea! I'm excited to see what we are going to get this year for anni! I would assume the mount and fash (not O'Malley since that can now be acquired through fb) and then one extra item. I hope it is something good. I think pwi has done a good job with anni so far.

    As for the expansion, I believe we have enough classes as is. I believe pw should focus on the next expansion to be more for the end game people. Make new instances or new things for us to do (though we do have a lot already). I think it would be neat if they did that but I dunno if they will. I do think we have enough classes though. No more plox! b:chuckle

    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    Let's see... Even though it's still far away here are some ideas I'd like to see in a new expansion...

    If we get new classes again make them some kind of midget race... Would be funny to have tiny ppl walking around in PW (give them winged boots to fly with or something)...

    More things to do... This game is all about getting to 100 fast and doing Nirvana's now... Make some fun instances for lvl 30+ or something... Maybe one with minigames in it instead of the usual go in, kill mobs, kill boss chain... But keep it fun for all lvles so no PK or something like that...

    Graphical upgrades of old classes... Why should fishes and treehuggers look better then the original races? Every time I see a mystic use skills I keep wishing older classes had such graphical effects too... Not to mention the basic hairstyles... Upgrade them already... They deserve it...

    Do something about "racism" in game... It's all about APS, BM's, Sins & Clerics now (and Seekers in FF's)... What about the arcane DD's and such? Either nerf aps or do something else so other classes will once again be apreciated again...

    More events... And by events I mean the kind that all lvles can participate in... The friday events and the tiger events may be fun... But when it comes to rewards it's once again all about who does the most damage on the bosses wich means that only lvl 100+ with high damage will be able to get rewards... Thus more reason to rush all the way too 100 as fast as possible again...

    Well that's about all I can think of right now... Would be nice to see all this happen... Let's just hope Wanmei thinks the same about it and who knows... b:cute

    As for the anniversary stuff... It'l probably just be the same anniversary mount (yay for having 2 ugly mounts on my veno this year), fashions, blessings and maybe something new again... b:surrender

    Yeah seeker is so overpowered, everyone dropped their sins and flocked to our class. mmm mmm that's some good overpowered lovin'.

    Seeker overpowered? Wait for rank 9 before you complain. Besides every class is op in a way, depends on gear and person. Well i do have a class i hate, but i am not going to bother whining because its pointless because every class has its strengths and weakness, just some are harder to get around then others.

    As for the update just wait and see, but me think its Anniversary packs or all the packs that ever exist on cashshop, yes XD even event packs.

    Oh! Another thing I noticed yesterday! While I had my Devil pet out I was in multiple duels and every time someone would use AD or an IG my pet actually continued to attack through the shield. So not only has absorb soul went through those but pets do as well. b:shutup

    Putting the upcoming Anniversary aside, according to my information the next expansion will be around in 2011. Might be Winter or even linked to this year's Anniversary. Who knows.

    The expansion itself won't include any new races (lol); but Rank 9 for Earthguards will be implemented (and more for other classes?). And we'll possibly get another area with quests and events (remember that thread some days back?). Same counts for the canceled Guild Base Wars which have been swapped with an instance like mass player dungeon (again, it'd be possible, but quite unlikely that they finish 'in time').

    Hey,
    mit der kommenden Spielerweiterung wird weitere Rank9 Ruestung fuer alle Klassen eingebunden, so dass defizite ausgeglichen werden sollten.

    Trans.: With the upcoming expansion there will be more Rank 9 equipment for ALL classes implemented, so that deficits will/should be balanced.

    Those are my thoughts including the research on this matter, however this is nothing but mere bullet-proof speculation.

    Tbh. I Would expect that sort of thing. PWE is well known for not finishing anything. But they are good at putting new things in the game to make a quick profit, as far as an expansion No there prob wont be a new class but i do see new content coming into the game. it will prob be broken when it gets here and wont get fixed.This is all knowledge of PWE me and many others have picked up from the past.

    If i get some *** non matching fashion again this year for playin sence beta. i will toilet paper PWE building. =)
