Any archer make a slave mystic for self-duoing?

I made a slave cleric, which is going fairly well. However, I am tempted to switch to a mystic solely because the mystic class has prettier R8 gear. If anyone has done so, can you tell me how well you fare in instances and such for self-duoing?

    The most important question on everyone's minds right now though, is whether your slave cleric has big ****.

    Where are you dualing by the way? If 2-3 for example, you'd probably want BB to be up for Wurlord...in 3-3 you want BB for Arma. Other than that I'd say they're interchangeable...just think of all the places you know you need BB in, and those are places where you'd prefer cleric instead.

    I duel with a cleric and archer to do most of my TTs (upwards of 5 hours a day when I'm on a farming binge). I have not personally tried with mystic, however, BB is of course the main benefit of a cleric as well as buffs on demand. BB has less mana cost than IH spam or macro and I'm pretty sure mystic heals as well. It may not heal as well, but it prevents the stray one shot from self buffing bosses. Also, in BB the cleric can tank a few mobs as well in tight situations where you can't chi enough for barrage.

    I also drag my veno harem around to amp but the only benefit I'd see to having a mystic instead of cleric is additional pet damage.... b:shutup
    So get your cleric a bunny girl costume and all is well.

    I haven't done TT3-x yet. I'm having difficulty tanking Wurlord in TT2-2 and TT2-3 (i.e. I cannot).

    Currently I do Frost and TT1-x, TT2-1.

    Back when I had trouble with Wurlurd (Pre-R8 sale) I often brought two clerics....
    So possibly a cleric and a mystic? 8D Instead of my Ruvil harem....

    Is that why you have strange balls all the time?

    Cleric and mystic, for the Chi ball buff from Salvation, would make some of the toughest stuff easy.

    Or you could just do it on a Fish... And hit it with balls at 5.0. b:avoid
