Herc... or Assassin?!

Nowadays we don't see as many venos as we used too... and assassins are like a plague b:sweat
I have both a veno and an assassin, and a ton of other alts too... and I want to make money in-game. My friend told me the best option would be getting an Assassin with high Aps, so I made the Assassin and I've been lvling it. However even if I plan on getting high Aps I'll have to cash shop. Getting Aps on the Sin is more expensive than getting Herc though... My question would be, which one do you guys think would be the best option?

- Getting Herc, and make money with it and then get aps for the sin or...
- Just getting aps, and then farming for the other characters.

Both options have one final goal, which is to make money for all the other characters, now the problem is... Venos used to be great money-makers and since Herc is still cheaper than getting the Aps for the Sin I thought that maybe it would still be a reliable option... and that's what I wanted to ask, are Hercs still be a reliable option? or they aren't a big deal anymore, way too slow and I would be better off just taking more time to save up irl to get Aps for the sin?

The sin will cost you a lot more time and coin to make it a good money maker as you already know. Venos are still good coin generators and scale well while sins can't until a huge investment is made. Venos aren't asked for aps to get into Nirvana squads. They don't need pots or a healer for bosses like BHD / card bosses. They don't feel so gimped w/o buffs. I'd go with Herc first and avoid the cash shopping.

Lythianaa - Dreamweaver

Venos are still decent money makers. They constantly make money, even if it is little by little. Sins are a huge money sink if you want to go APS at the end and are squishy in the beginning (especially if you are a new player). They do gain money pretty quickly at the end but one has to go through the gear getting hurdle first. It's really up to what you prefer in terms of gamestyle but if you are actually new, I recommend a veno first.

Phoenix_Eye - Heavens Tear

I have 4 alts i play and from all 4 , the one that gave me the most profit was my veno. Funny ting is that she doesnt have a herc , or nix ( i may get her one later who knows) But she is the most convinient Class to grind with. No pot use , Minimal to non-existant repairs ,no big need for expensive gear except endgame and constant Kill rate. With a Normal Pet , ur a good Grinder , with legendary pet , ur a great grinder.

TT and AoE farming are a Venos Paradise , and while a sin can make Tremendous amounts of money , that comes at lvl 99-100 After they have farmed their butts to get all the gear they need,

A Veno can make Profit starting at a very low lvl , and can fully solo the first forms of TT by lvl 70 with standard profit , Ty fairy boxes !! (at that lvl the pet will be able to handle the bosses with no particular problems)

Choose what u like , or both , be prepared to farm things like herbs or mats , but also keep in mind that with a veno , money will come in smaller amounts , but earlier With a sin , they will come at the last gaming lvls.

Thanks guys. Yea I'll go for the Herc. I'm not exacly a new player, this is even my second account and as you can see it joined the forums on Dec 2009. I've always had many alts (that's probably one of the reasons I don't get to high lvls as fast as I would like but hey at least I have fun) and recently started a Sin for farming purposes. But as you said, a Sin requires a huge investment to be able to farm properly, while a Veno can do it earlier and for a lot less coins too. Even though it is little by little, if it's still decent then it is my option. My question really was if they were still decent enough for it, as I took a break from pwi and didn't really know the latest market trends. After seeing so many people roling Sins (some for farming purposes too) I got the feeling Veno was left behind.
Anyway, if it can still make good money then it's my choice. It has been my favourite class since the begining.

Been testing this - AOE farming is 200k per hour, seemingly no matter where I do it.


TT is potentially better, but you need at least one other person to open the doors for you to get into squad mode. TT-solo isn't worth squat. (theoretically 360k from the fairy box mirages, but you're paying subs to get in and that brings it back down - and you'd be lucky to get 6 fairy boxes in a single solo mode run. You're also very lucky to see a single mat.)

Fun? what is this "fun" you speak of? is it the enjoyment of killing a boss in less than a minute? or having a long drawn out struggle to kill a boss you haven't before? b:surrender where is the fun in killing a defenseless kitten? >.> 5aps+BP = bosses are kittens... i feel sorry for those who complain about being bored... when they are the ones that caused it b:sad

I guess u didnt understand what i meant. people have fun in this game with their own ways , for some , its to kill thigns fast , make money , get whatever **** they want and then hanging out with Friends. Other people Find funny to set up whole squads and d othings traditionally.

If the QQ about 5aps would end and people minded their own business , things would be way more quiet here.
