Hi I am new to PWI I have ben playing for a while now with my Venomanser; I managed to get her up to LvL 53. Realizing that every squad needs a good cleric I decided to make one. I tried to look up the best way to make a cleric but instead I find complaints on how bad the new clerics are doing. I don’t want make the same mistakes as you people are talking about in the previous post. Pleas experienced players give me (and every other new cleric who reads this) some good tips and advice. I want to be a good healer…
All I am asking for is what skills should I lvl, the best build I should give her, and some healing strategies.Ps. I dont understand the consept of Iron Heart and what light armor is and why it is used by magic classes???
Thank you for reading my request and I can’t wait for your response ^.^

Yes read the sticky or for some people they understand it naturally.
And don't power level to 100 without any actual experience of playing the class in various instances.

Light armor gives little more physical defence than arcane armor and it refines better but arcane armor is more efficient for you.

I'd go with pure magic build (all stats point into magic+just enough strengt for gears)

BB=blue bubble level 59 skill (Regeneration Aura) which is one of your best skills

    About healing strategies...
Most of time ironheart spamming is the best way to heal. You can learn by try and error method. Remember that everyone makes mistakes and those who admit that they made mistake can possible learn from them.

By money do you mean gold or coins? Or rather, is it using coins to level skills, or having to buy stuff from the cash shop?

Coin, you level up skills with coins same as a veno.

Hello. Let me do my best to answer your questions.

You should level virtually all of your skills (save blessings of the purehearted), however the skills that you should take priority on are:

Plume shot: Your only efficient, fast physical attack- Max it.
Great Cyclone: Your best kiting instrument, as well as being a good combo with plume shot: Max it.
Ironheart: Your best, and most efficient heal period. Max it. (I'll cover a little more on it in this response).
All buffs are worth maxing, though you can save Celestial guardians seal for later...though it is worth the effort.
Revive: Max it if you plan to run a lot of fb's, bh's, or be in a lot of squadplay.
Purify: Start maxing later on, but at least get it.
Wellspring: Worth maxing, but not a necessity. Definately max ironheart.
Wield Thunder: Your best non chi nuke: Worth maxing.

Ironheart is your best heal because, quite simply...you can stack it, and it is a continuous heal over time.
BB (Blue bubble), formerly known as regeneration aura is a move that immobilizes you, but consistenly heals the party, and raises their defense as long as it is active and they are in range.
Light Armor gives better physical defense than Arcane armor. The tradeoff however is less magic defense, and less magic power due to a tradeoff in the stats to wear it. This is not to say that this is totally inefficient, for I know a LA cleric who can heal, and kill mobs as good as anyone. The more common armor however is arcane armor. I will agree with everyone else, and highly recommend that you read the posts that are stickied. This is just a basic layout of what to expect. The stickies cover far more detail and far more ground. This is just a basic synopsis, entailing the answers to some of the questions that you asked.

Good luck playing a cleric. Though different in a way. It is still a fun class regardless. Take care and have fun,
