    Your biggest problem is playing on performance mode. I saw you made a lot of mistakes because you were unable to see more than one target at a time: wasting ultis on low priority single targets, chasing a target into a group of enemies and getting swarmed, letting venos walk up towards you and purging. If you could just see your enemies better alot of these can be prevented.

    You're also clicking skills a lot more than you should, especially genie skills. This slows you down and diverts your attention. I don't think I saw you use extreme poison at all even when genie is full and the opponent was in range. I recommend remapping the keys so everything is in easy reach of your hand. For instance my holypath button is the letter E while AD is the letter R.

    I also didn't really see you use defense charms (probably because you can only click so much... again a good reason to rely exclusively on hot keys). You should spam defense charms before every battle and again right after you are first hit. That way the first 2 enemy attacks in every battle are negated.

    I think you're also under utilizing DB which is important for map control. Something like AD+ distance shrink + IG + DB can easily punch a hole in enemy formations and your genie has enough regen to Holy Path to safety at the end of IG.

    Finally every time you fly anywhere you should use accelerate. Not using it is too slow.

    Now need a new pc, i guess, I play with 8-14 fps which even with efects/distance low, so basically most of the time i play like a mole...hoping for the best b:surrender

    how do u get that buff that gives u more magic attack, increase crit, and more -channeling. they last long. u even have the sin buff. i saw a wizard in my server have those buffs during tiger events. are those guild base buffs?

    Indeed they are the guild base buffs. They do disappear after you die though.

    And I really think Asterelle hit right on the spot. Positioning yourself well as in not over-extend or under-extend is pretty important for range DDs like wizard in tw. The best performance option prevented you from positioning well in many occasions in the video.

    I loved the gladiator soundtrack though! dam epic!

    just want to comment that while asterelle's post was all excellent feedback, this ^ is one (true) point that even veteran players will sometimes fail to point out. it tends to be forgotten amidst the haze of "spam ultis" advice.

    props for remembering it. and OP, you definitely want to do what you can to get out of performance mode. bear in mind that some lag in TW is normal for most computers.

    oh ****, I'm a bit rusted, but ... damn...

    So, let's see...
    1. DON'T get purged. unbuffed wiz is like a soap balloon.
    2.Rambo wizard is sooo 1986. Don't do that. There are always meat shields u can use(BM, Barbs, HA venos. You're not suppose to lead the charge, unless you want to break defensive lines with blink+DB+IG.
    2. wasting sparks (ultis) for nothing... if you don't have chi for the important moments in the battle, you're useless. Important I mean dropping a cata, or your cata being swarmed by melee and need help to be cleared out, etc. Droping ulti on less than 5 ppl is a waste of chi, and as demon wizard u should be punished with 35 whiplashes.
    3. I see you're demon wiz. Use your SR and pyro more, haven't seen you use hailstorm almost at all. Don't underestimate spam skills, they give you more kills than ultis. They aren't that flashy, but damn they hurt.
    4. More awareness on the battlefield, you're just not looking into the right/dangerous places almost at all, but I guess that might come in time with more experience.

    my preferred way to use db

    I use this method on lanes as well, but this is just the only video i have a db isolated.

    Don't mind the vent sounds lol as i'm laughing like a re tard.

    Holy Path + fortify i find is a much better way to get in to db rather than the ds + domain trick. Just much easier to find a spot to get into and you run really fast up to ppl if they try to move away as you switch targets. You also have ds to get away rather than rely on holy path which i think would give them more of a way to cc you after.

    The other bonus i find to this is if you get in front of your bm doing this all of a sudden all the stupid people want to hit you and you are soaking up some of the dmg for the bm.

    I must be a total tard.. I was always under the impression that fortify didnt work with immune pots...(and never really tried it myself cuz im really cheap and hate wasting pots) Ima have so much fun in the next TW <_<

    But anyway, just an observation - Level 105 wiz with R9 and this thread? Too funny.

    And +1 to rank 9 but crappy computer. I played for a long time on a crappy computer. Seeing people makes all the difference, lol.

    I love it though. Makes me look better and better these baby huey's in their super suits.

    For anyone else though, if you are going to instant R9 a class? Wizard? Fun, yea, but Rank 9 psychics are crazy town.

    Tips to get better? Get some tt90 gear, get your rank 8 weapon, and play that way for 8-10 tws. I guarandamntee you will figure a way out to survive better, use your genie better, use apoth better, position yourself better, etc.

    Either that, or you can always just keep rank 9 and tab>stone rain your way up B b:surrender
