Extreme Mana Depletion

Started leveling up a new Mystic alt, at about lvl 19 now.

After hitting 19, I maxed all the skills I could. Gear is still the basic outfit you get from standard quests at this point.

After hitting 19, mana gets depleted really fast, all it takes is a couple of pet heals and 7 or 9 attack spellls and mana is down to 5%. Fight one or two mobs and mana gets depleted.

I logged off and when I came back, mana use seemed more like normal. but the next time I logged out and back it was back to fast depletion.

Is this normal, or what?b:beg

well I recommend you to get a mp charm until you are enough lvl to use herb pots...

both the earthguard classes seem like they were deliberately designed to be potion addicts, or totally dependent on charms. mystics at least can get away with just MP pots/charm; the seekers kinda almost need both.

Yeah, it's somewhat normal. I don't max stuff out right away due to the mp costs.

There are some ways around mp costs. +Mp regen gear helps some. Jade Powders are easier to make than other lv2 apothecary items and recover 3k mp. Divine Honors can be traded for 300 1k mp pots.

just stick with it! its aggravating thats for sure. just stock up on a butt load of meds and meditate when you need mana. when your 75 you can get the mana pots from tokens (gift exchange lady next to the banker). they help a bunch, u wont need to meditate ever again.

or you can go the more expensive route and just buy a mana charm till 75. i didnt do it but i would say its defiantly worth it. after 75 though, u dont really need a mana charms, the 75 pots are extremely cheaper.
