Seriously, does it? I've been sitting here for over and hour waiting on ONE gm to warp me out....
Has this ever worked for you?...

    GMs dont exist unless you spend $1k or more per year on the game, sorry.

    At one point it opened the live chat page on the website. That way actually worked sometimes.

    I believe it's possible to get stuck in specific terrain, where the server registers your character as moving forward but w/ a road block (such as when you run into a wall, and continue to see your character's body move, like it's attempting to break through the wall), and you can't use the "Town Teleport" skill.

    I know it happens in some EG area, where they refused to fix the glitched terrain since the expansion. Also, it happened in the past w/ Etherblade's waterfall area if I remember correctly (years ago).

    When the character re-logs, they are still stuck in the glitched terrain and unable to use any skills/fly/jump/tp out. The only way out is if a GM literally moves your character.

    Back in the day, this feature used to work. It works great on Private servers, all the time. The issue comes into play when there are no GMs online. It's kinda comical, because assuming you did this at the right time (during normal USA business hours on a weekday -- GMs would be working at this time), you should get a GM. However, in the last two years PWE has decided to work on other games, and put most of their staff on other jobs.

    Does the button correctly function as it's intended purpose? Yes.
    Will you get a GM during normal business hours on a weekday? Probably not.

    @Asterelle doesnt help if they got stuck somewhere and are in that "falling" animation all the time. Ive had that happen a couple of times, you cant do anything at all :( (worst is using shadow teleport off the edge of the map by accident. You can get stuck just above the floor and cant do a thing >_>)

    EDIT :

    @OP, you can get a friend to kill you. Or an enemy if your friends wont take the 2 hours for it.

    In other words, you are correct. This player was using sarcasm to justify that you are not only correct, but there are so many horrible things about this game & moderating staff (GMs/CMs, etc), that saying one or two things wouldn't "do the trick", as there are so many in existance.

    Hope that helps to better understand this player's post.

    I got stuck in the terrain in Lunar once, and couldn't town portal; just rubberbanded if I tried to move anywhere. Someone told me to try using the /GM to whisper a GM so I did and it gave me an "I'm stuck" button thing to choose when I started typing I was stuck. I clicked it and a few minutes later I was teleported out into Arrowhead.

    So I guess that works sometimes. But like someone said earlier, they aren't working all the time. However, I did also notice there was an "I'm stuck" option on the ticket page, and I happen to know they do respond to some tickets of that nature instantly so that might work.
