Well. It's now 10 minutes past 7pm server time on the DE server, and there's been the lack of proposed system messages alerting everyone of the assault event, and no npc Sentries have spawned in any of the cities.

Are we exempt from the new event? Or what's the dealio here.

    Same on the French servers, I just made a post on them forums questioning what's going on like, I'm presuming it's not for the EU servers, which is pretty screwy saying were under the same company like, yet they seem to want to run separate events, furthermore putting the event on the announcement/news thing on the launcher, giving no indication that it isn't for the EU at all, so if there aint no event for the EU servers...nice going PWI.

    only ten minutes? chill. the archosaur assault events frequently start 30-45 minutes late on the US servers, after all --- it's almost a PWI tradition.

    It might not be comfortable posting in German or French Suaver, but Fuzzy thinks a question like this is better suited for the forum related to the server you play on.

    Both the German and French servers should be considered "European" servers. After all that was their original intention, was it not?
    And besides. There is more English speaking people on the server then there is of anything else. Just sayin'...

    Event starts at 8pm Server Time, including the EU servers. The error in the post was my fault - accidentally put 7pm instead of 8pm.

    Hi, i would like to ask those that has done this event..

    Since i saw on the post "The more you slay, the bigger your EXP/Spirit bonus will be when you actually turn in the quest." is that like the only reward? Cause if so, i would than do it with my 'smaller' character, to build him up a little, but if there is like some chests, which the quality of the chest comes from how much you have contributed to the event then it would be better to do it with my 'bigger' character..
    So I am more just curious.

    I would avoid this event with any low level character, unless you got pots/charms to burn, even then, you may as well just use x12 hypers, seriously, also, from the amount of mobs you kill, you may as well just do a normal quest, its pretty...shocking.

    Basically if anyone has done that really low level human quest at like level 10, where you gota kill some snakes, any amount, the more you kill, the higher the exp reward, you can't share the kills in a party, you get the kill if you dealt the most damage to it, the mobs are ? level, they deal quite a fair amount of damage, now I wasn't complaining really at the start, because per mob, the reward went up by 1.5k exp per mob, ? level and they had 9k hp, also droping chi stones, no fuss to me.

    Then the second stage comes up, go to arch, the mobs there now have 24k and the others had 29k i think, ? level again dealing more damage then the previous, these only gave 2k exp per mob, only the 29k hp mobs (giant phoenix mobs) were dropping the chi stones, the only classes that can make efficient use from this, is venos and mystics because of there pets, high levels won't need this event at all, simply because the exp you get aint really worth the time you could be spending in FC or something, unless your looking for chi stones, the event serves no real purpose, I mean sure, it's nice that PWI gave us some lil temp event, but the fact that it's pretty damn shocking to us lower levels and I'm gonna bet higher levels (gonna test it out on US servers tonight on my mystic), I don't see to much point in it.

    Either way, don't have high hopes for the event, there probs won't be enough mobs for everyone anyway, when we were in arch, with are small populated server, I was nearly struggling to find a mob in arch.

    Was there any real reward to these quests? In the DB it looks like all you do is go around killing mobs at city after city and get the XP when you turn it in. There doesn't appear to be any associated public quest.

    The rewards from the event are obtained solely through monster-kill quests, the monster-killing itself, and monster drops.

    So, is there another reward besides chi stones? Or are the chi stones, and exp/spirit the only reward?

    Your not missing much from the event anyway. The drops the mobs gave were only chi stones. Which barely made up for the mana usage to kill the mobs. DQ drops would have been much better.
    I get better drops and better xp from aoe pulling in OHT 3rd map.

    The event is only daily till Aug 2nd. After tonight I wont be doing it anymore. Kudos to PWI for trying something new, but the event isnt worth while.
