So..according to a friend, they got an e-mail from PWe about scanning for a virus. Call me paranoid, but this strikes me as one of the oldest tricks in the book from those with a malicious intent. Is this legit or indeed a scam?
Outlier (noun) :
1. A person or thing situated away or detached from the main body or system.
2. A person or thing excluded from a group; an outsider.
-Mostly gone for RL/Team Fortress 2-

If I receive hijackthis data from our players that shows they have malware and all kinds of toolbars in their browser etc, I will suggest they scan their system. Nothing malicious about my intent I assure you.

    b:thanks

Thanks :) I was merely checking because in other games I've played, spammers would send similar e-mails and pretend to be tech support in order to get people to compromise their own accounts. (Yes..I'm protective of friends) That's actually nice you do that. (I wasn't implying PWe staff were handing out virii..is bad business sense to make your customers unable to play games xD)
