    LOL the GM got bored and started dissing them after a while XD b:pleasedb:laugh

    Now for Lost City though, I'm really anxious and waiting for the Lost City PWIC...
    I seriously wonder: people who don't RPK, if you play the board game "Sorry!" and you roll the dice so that you land on an opponents piece and send it back to the beginning, do you sincerely apologize and ask everyone if you can have a do-over roll so you can give your victim another chance? It's a god damn game..

    Sort of is in the sense that a small skill decision or hiccup could have a big impact.

    2 squads wiped, one 10 minutes, one over 4, i'd say 20 seconds is pretty close

    And I think we did that. So even if Catalyst is upset, I think Harshlands should be proud.

    I just wanna put in my 2 cents.


    Its true Arch isnt the most populated server, that results in lower recruit levels, unfortunately.

    However the squad we selected for the pwic wasnt really in thought of harpy wraith, it was in thought of beating the other factions in the pvp segment.

    103 sage barb R9
    104 sage wiz R9
    104 sage bm R9
    101 sage cleric R9
    102 demon psy R8
    101 demon veno Lunar (neon purgatory)

    Sounds like a harpy wraith aps lineup right? b:sweat



    To be fair the runners up Polo coulda taken harpy in 3minutes, they had r9 +12 sin, r9 +12 veno, r9 full set +10 cleric, r9 archer, +10 lunar claw bm, r8 axe barb,

    Yeah theres significant pve aps DD in that squad.

    And just to prove they could they killed it after the tourny and world chatted the dragon essence.

    Besides the point, they failed to get to harpy where it counted by losing in the more important pvp section, which lets face it was what everyone really cared about.


    Unfortunately our AA cleric and veno arent exactly OP, so harpys aoe wiped them at about 12m hp with an AOE, I had to tank in tiger form without using fists just to not wipe out like dw and ht did.
    Relying on psy heals for a short time because they stopped at between 4-8m hp if I recalled when a purge kicked in getting the psy killed,
    then they were 3
    The bm's G15 fists berserk proc kicked in, buffless due to purge caused him to die.


    So it was just left to me and _CurseD our R9 wiz to duo it, I stayed tiger most of it as to prevent an embarrassing wipe, spam potting, invoke + white tea + spark aps human then switching back to tiger until it was down.

    Gimme a break im not an op sin like cheze who can solo harpy by avoiding debuffs and purges and such and recovers 50million hp a minute with bp.


    tbh 10mins was good enough for what we had, especially considering half of that was unbuffed barb/wizard combo using axe and magic sword oldschool style . :<

    And yes we can do harpy faster with r9 sins from fac but then we probably would have lost the pvp stage if we didnt have the lineup that we picked.
    So in my opinion we made the right chioce,

    -and 5th out of 7 places for the youngest server aint bad if you ask me.
