when i try to say that i think your pack sales are **** you wont let me say i THINK they are ****. but other ppl can call other ppl a$$ hats and fvck tards!?! wtf

    Uh, thank you? I think. I mean, that's most companies though. They don't really care about monitoring the customers private beefs as long as it doesn't go too far and turn into a flame war. As long as they aren't losing them money. Forums tend to be a place to leave reviews, complain about bugs, talk about things you enjoy, etc. News posts tend to be places to advertise company sales both for current and potential customers. If a potential customer sees two people having a disagreement with each other, it tends to not affect their purchasing decision. But if people think that the game is going to sell them something at high price that isn't valuable, basically rip them off, and that the items in game aren't good they probably aren't going to play it.

    i very much agree with you on that aspect. but when someone says a particular sale is garbage.. and it gets posted (follow me here because i respect your opinion) and another gets rejected because of the use of the word ****. whats the difference between the two words? some may find one word less derogatory then the other?

    Well, if I were a customer just seeing this game for the first time and I heard someone say, "This sale is garbage, they just had something similar on sale and I want blah blah," I might think that they just don't like the sale. If someone goes, "This is ****, they are ripping us off, etc," that response seems angrier to me. More bitter. Like maybe either that particular person is little off or that the company is ripping off it's customers and people are mad. It might make me think twice, look up the forums and upon coming here it might make me not want to play. Besides that I can understand why they would have a profanity filter. If I were a store owner, I wouldn't want a bunch of profanity written all over my store front either about how terrible my store is being run.

    Probably just an automatic censor filter to prevent the kinds of posts I mentioned in the above posts. Sometimes they catch things that they shouldn't but there is nothing in this world that is perfect. At least you were able to get your main point across, which is more than many sites will let you do. Not to mention that due to the racism in many newsboards and youtube comments across the web, many US sites were pressured into adopting filters. It's not an ideal situation but not everything can be.
