as a cleric?

I read a couple threads here on the cleric forums and I'm pretty much facepalming myself. I've been away for over a year; I'm pretty low on funds (just full TT90 and Sage PS, Cyclone and Vanguard to boot) and making money has been a challenge for me for some weird reason. So.....is it worth coming back as a cleric despite reading about all this **** flying around about the new clerics aren't what they used to be a long time ago?

(oh yeah btw wasn't too sure if the cleric forum was the right one to post this in...either this one or in the general section...)

    Anyway, regarding your initial question, it's subjective. Some people who come back after a break see how the game's changed and love it, wanting to improve etc, and get back in to the game. Some leave again for the same reason; too many changes. Or, some leave due to the game staying in the neanderthalic state they left it in in the first place. Just come back, try it out, explore a bit, and if you don't like it, just leave again. No biggie IMO.

    I don't know what you mean by "not what they used to be", but if that's synonymous with "I can suck as a cleric and still get into squads" then the answer is no. Mystics can do most of what a cleric can, and the onus is on the cleric moreso nowadays to prove their worthiness to a squad, much like barbs.
