Noob archer questions

OK I have some noob questions that I've searched for but am unable to find a good answer for so I'll come here.

1. BOA is listed as a ranged attack so in FC if I run to cleric in BB will my damage be nerfed because I'm so close to mobs?

2. Is it worthwhile to have a MP charm to keep BOA up longer?

3. Blazing Arrows buff says "normal arrows" does this mean the buff doen't work on slingshot or crossbow?

Elenacostel - Heavens Tear

1) Barrage of Arrows suffers from the half damage penalty for targets that are within 5 meters, much like most other Archer skills. Only the Wing and metal deal full damage (and Sage Deadly Shot).

2) No. Use Herb Yuanxiao. You can use those at level 75.
