Why cant the devs program instances?

So I was wondering this. We havent seen a single new instance. Warsong: fb109. Nirvana: fb109. Phoenix: fb19. Is it hard to program new instances?
The current instances were programmed once? Why cant they do that again? If there is a new dev team, why didnt the old dev team teach them how to do it? The new dev team did go to school I assume?
I just dont get it and am a bit sad that there arent coming new instances. They should use our money to buy some school lectures to learn it.
Greetings!

... Why should they program anything new when they can just put in a reputation sale for cash and amuse themselves by watching how people go "OMFG YAY EVENTS!" when they trigger an Archosaur Assault.
Basically, there's no "need" for anything new. At least not for a while, since people are still getting their Nirvana stuffs or working towards their R9s. And the cycle is constant: people get bored, quit, replaced by new people.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Something to do with current dev's don't own the original coding, so can't add anything material to it for legal and/or knowledge based reasons. They can adjust little things like event triggers, drop rates, stuff like that though.
Also read somewhere there was meant to be 4 other cities the size of Archosaur, representing the 5 elements ingame, which they aren't allowed to release. These cities being bigger than the race cities. 5 new cities > a heck of a lot larger game world > chances are there would have been more instances to fill up the gaps.
But I have no idea where I read this so everyone will think it's bollocks b:surrender0 -
That would involve actually working. Devs just sit around thinking of excuses for not fixing bugs/adding new content.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Making more instances would not allow them to sit on their butts all day and get paid for it. How dare you try to make the developers actually do something.Main characters

Sage Barbarian Malego - 910 -

So they can program instances but they just dont do it?Aizza - Harshlands wrote: »True...
When we purchase vendor based applications there are conditions that we cannot alter the code. But we do have variations within the program we can select or we can pay for them to specially program modules or add-ons to the existing coding.
To the OP - you have to remember in business, you have a 3 sided triangle to consider. Cost, Resources, Time. One side cannot move - no matter what. Here this is cost. They will not pay more. Second is resources - how much resources does the game use and if we implmented change 2 and 3, how much more would be needed now > and later. The third side is very movable and that would be time in this case. Time would feed into the other two sides (more resources > company willing to spend a bit more for the sake of returned profit).
In the end - the old saying we use is 'wanting it is very different from needing it'.... When the want is there > nothing. When the need is there > maybe. The need would be on their end to recruit/retain players, when they see the new membership waning and purchases skydiving enough to hurt.
I think the developers in this case, are moreso serverside, and maintain/manage the servers/updates-patches. I would guess there are debuggers to help fix errors that are surface but for anything deep probably have to consult with the initial vendor (maker) of pw. The devs prob. are the ones installing and testing new content and rolling it out when ready.
Yes, but IMO we "NEED" an fb19 for the new races. Basic 3 have one, new 2 should have one too. Why didnt they program a new fb19?0 -

They can't even fix the "little" issues in many parts of the game and when they do release new instances they become barren because they release anything farmable in them into packs. Like Nirvana and Warsong, it took what a few weeks before farming items in there became moot? b:sweat Oh and those instances were not even "new" they were recycled *sigh*[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
