    did you know that 99% of male players have veno alt? really, I did investigation. I asked about 40 ppls!!!

    Male irl....started out as a female archer, coz well...look at male archers :P
    Anyway, 3 days in I kept getting hit on (srsly) and ppl wanting to carry and embrace me, so I ditched her and rerolled a male archer. Wanted to play the game, not join eHarmony.
    All of my active chars now are males, with exception of my veno, in which I had no choice.
    Exception being my shop is also a female, for functionality sake so I could carry her to Archosaur or Raging Tides or wherever I may need her to be set up.

    I play a male cleric main. I am a guy in rl.
    I like clerics because they remind me of the angels on Tales of Symphonia.
    I play a male seeker because I like looking like a tough badass heavy blader too.

    So I guess I do not mind the girliness of fairy boy clerics lol

    Interesting thread...

    As for me, rl male, first toon is a male bm. second toon is a female sin on a different account, made it female for convenience (can carry her around on bm and gain chi at the same time) also like others said, male sins just don't look right.

    third and fourth toons are both male both on bm's account. just made a cleric on sin's account which is female. again gender is based on convenience and aesthetics.

    Where exactly did you get your statistics? What is the margin of error?

    It seems like half the players lie about nearly everything, so I'm not sure I'd trust any poll here on the forums or people in game.

    I'm male and I'm G.a.y. <--censored beyond repair, therefore I refuse to, under any circumstance short of being bribed free Rank 9 +12 gear, play a female character. That being said, Male clerics are the tallest and have the best looking accessory (Feather Heads, looks better then the archer ones.)

    Also happen to be the best R9 arcane class to fight other arcane. So there, Gender and Class choice answered in 3 sentences or less. May I has R9 now? I be broke...b:thanks

    I'm female and I started with Venomancer because I'd read up on the forums before playing the game ( that was way back when ) and Venomancer was supposed to be an easy "starter" class. Male/Female didn't influence my decision at all. If Barbs had been stated to be an easy starter class, I would've picked that.

    Now I play a mix of male and female toons. *shrug* I'll be shallow and say that some classes look better in the female version than the male, and vice versa. I just wish that BOTH genders hadn't gotten the short stick when it comes to who you can carry. I can't count the times in game when I wanted to pick up a woman/man just to get them from Point A to Point B faster.
