How to take/remove a gem out of a weapon?

So when i got my hook & thorn daggers, I was super excited so I just put any gem in there, and i decided on a hp, one. ( not smart ). & I made that silly mistake, and I was wondering if there was any way to remove that gem? I was thinking about purifying it at the blacksmith, but its refined to +6, and I was wondering if that would remove the refines aswell? thankyou in advanced to answering this question <33 b:pleasedb:laughb:thanks

    Purify will only remove/destroy the shard you have in it - it won't do anything to the refine level.
