PWI not detecting RAM

Hi
Yesterday i upgraded my processor and PSU. An adventure in itself . Today when i played pwi i noticed that my fps were very low (5 or below) and the ping was in the 1000 range(i got it to the 400 range by closing anything using the internet). This was on the lowest possible setting. Previously, on the lowest setting even in west arch i got about 20-35 fps, ping was about 200~550. In instances things improve, the fps moves to 60+, and ping is 350 or below usually.
I checked the client, it said 0 Ram detected, before the upgrade it was detecting my 8gb ram, but now it is not. The new processor is detected. It is AMD 1090T.
The computer sees the 8 GB ram, memtest worked fine on all the ram. I verified the files by clicking verify file option, hoping it might correct itself. Is there a way to get the client to recognise the ram, or should i uninstall and reinstall and hope for the best? Wasn't sure what uninstalling and installing did to the game. Other games i would uninstall in a heartbeat .

It's very likely that the client won't recognize more than 4GB of ram, I'm surprised it did before. Remember, this is pre-multiprocessor coded software.
As for your FPS and ping... Neither of those have anything to do with the RAM on your system.
Make sure that old processor drivers have been removed from the system, and that the proper drivers for the new one are installed. Do a hard reboot, and make sure that Patcher, Loader, and Elementclient.exe are all set with "Run as Administrator" in their program properties."No matter how subtle the wizard, a knife between the shoulder blades will seriously cramp his style." - Steven Brust, Yendi
