Gnip - Raging Tide

In the process of making a wiz. Had a question about r8s. I was planning on +10 the weapon. Was wondering if its worth the trouble or should I just make a nirvy +10? Any advice would be appreciated thanx in advance.

unless you want to use it for more than 1 character then nirvana > r8+10
