It is a fact that the barb has become an endangered specie in PW. Reason for this is listed below:
1. There are level 100+ barbs but very few low level ones. Since barbs are male characters there is very low chance for them to encounter a female one in PW, so reproduction is stopped. Soon lvl100+ will grow old and weary of the game and leave. b:cry
2. The rise in power of Tank-types characters have the heightened the risk. These are mainly BMs and Seekers (especially seekers) who are more looked for in FFs.b:surrender I hate the fact that tank-wannabes come in and say they can tank whilst on the other side, the squad gets wiped!!! Come on, admit it, seekers can have the hp but they have no agro skills!!! Only barbs do have!!! So let the barbs do their jobs!!!
3. The rise in power of APS-types characters. b:angry Nirvana can be done without APS but people always want one cuz they wanna finish fast. Flesh-ream has low chance of retaining agro from those mongrels and when they die they put the blame on the barb for not being able to hold agrob:surrender Really WTF!
4. High repairs for armours... -_- Who want to have the charge on this?
How to protect the species:
1. People don't want high repair bills. So for barbs, ask the NPCs to give discounts (half discounts) for barbs who are tanking!!! It's unfair that squishy cleric in RB has to put a BB and go afk while Mr Barb goes and collects mobs the other side. So final repair bill for cleric is like 1 coin and for barb is 60k for a wave3???
2. Better aggro skills. Like fleshream retaining agro for first 3 secs and then for whoever who hits harder gets it. Which leaves barb enough time to cast another ream.
3. Bring in a female barb class. Barbs are testosterone-filled creatures who want sex with a real female!!! Not with humans, not with elves, and especially not with fish (they are food for kitties)!!! Venos??? They're too squishy for that!!! Plus they already do it with their pets!!! Barbs are loyal creatures who look for life-time companions!!!b:cute

I had to laugh at this part.
Anyway, female barbs have been suggested just as much and male venos. Now that mystics have come out, male venos are no longer suggested. Often any girls wanting to play a barb just have to settle for a BM or just play as a male barb. I know a few friends of mine who are girls and play barbs. I even had one for a while. =P

Please let the APS do the tanking even if they ask you to fleshream and hold agro. Mostly in BH Metal at boss!!! Let them tank!!! Let them die!!! Let them have high repairs!!!

Seekers do not tank FC properly, and I prefer a barb anyday. Seekers die on large pulls that a barb can handle, they do not have the same HP as a barb, or the speed of a barb, and they do not hold aggro.I seriously wonder: people who don't RPK, if you play the board game "Sorry!" and you roll the dice so that you land on an opponents piece and send it back to the beginning, do you sincerely apologize and ask everyone if you can have a do-over roll so you can give your victim another chance? It's a god damn game..

I always have to go to repairs to fix some equipment in wave 4/5. And i always pay more than 60k, trust me.
So you just used an wrong argument.
Though i know that in general, barb repair bills are more expensive, and the most expensive. Anyway it's not up to me to make the changes...Trolling since September 2008b:victory

My main would be Barb if they had other forms besides Tiger.
Unfortunately, people whine and QQ when their tank can't transform into a tiger and tank.
