Which path and weapon should I use?

Hi everyone i just started and i chose a BM.I heard about you get to chose a weapon path.I dont know which should i use and i want to know in advance .i want a weapon that has high damage dealing and hits fast.Thanksb:thanks

    Every path or GTFO

    If you want high damage dps of a fist BM you're better off rolling a fish, they dps many times better

    If you want to play a BM for debuffs Heavens flame or Glacial spike roll a Venomancer, they have damage amp and purge

    If you want to play BM for aoes, roll a seeker as they can down mobs faster and have better defense to pull.

    If you want high damage physical range damage of polearms, roll an archer.

    If you want versatility to do it all, roll a multipath BM

    But for the sake of spirit, start off with fist and axes

    I'll be a little nicer than SOME people.

    First, pk Is player kill.

    BMs don't need to choose 1 path only. You CAN, but It wouldn't be too efficient unless it were an axe/vit build. When you're new, you'll mostly be using axe/hammer and swords via quest rewards, but lvl 29 is when you really have to consider your path(s).

    Read some of the BM guides that are stickied in this forum, they're pretty handy.

    I prefer the all path build; you'd have a.blast having a wide range of skills and weapons at your disposal.

    Lol bullsht. They got a zhen over BM, but their other AoEs are pathetic. Yeah they'll kill that ONE group faster than a BM when they got the 2 sparks. But after that, they only have 2 spammable AoEs so you can't even constantly spam AoEs and have to wait for the 2 to cool down while you hit single target.
