Hi guys Im am back lvl'ing my cleric after playing bm for several months and lvl 100 is looming and I would really appreciate some advice on options for gears. I dont have enough rep atm to get rank gear so an alternative that doesnt involve me having to remortgage my house would be appreciated. I currently have http://pwcalc.com/b475cc14a173b234 and am working on a Warsoul Helmet atm and was thinking of the Fate Denial lvl 99 as weapon choice but would be very grateful for some pointers for the rest of my gears. Thank you in advance ::)

Hi guys Im am back lvl'ing my cleric after playing bm for several months and lvl 100 is looming and I would really appreciate some advice on options for gears. Thank you in advance ::)

A few things that are good:

Sea capt sleeves, while not up to your level, are perfectly equitable. You can aim for TT90 gold sleeves (that's what I used) which have the -chan and really nice pdef, or TT99 sleeves (more up-to-level, same -chan and some hp). The TT99 is nice to have if you plan on upgrading them later to their nirviy'd equivalents.

The FC gold belt is wonderful, but a better option is the Map 4 belt. It's free and very good. Unlock map 4 and it's yours.

The OHT necklace is fine, but make sure you carry around a pdef neck to swap out when needed. I kept two OHT orns for -chan and the event orns for pdef and most clerics I know had two sets of orns like me. The 87 mold necklace is very good or you can make yourself an OHT pdef neck with good adds.

The rings are great, but aim for CV rings if your cash agrees with you. The pdef on them is fantastic as well as the crit, though crit may not be a big deal to you. I PKed a bunch, so it mattered to me somewhat.

The TT99 glaive is good and you can certainly use that. The cheapo TT99 weap is the pataka and it works just fine as well (though I'd use the glaive over that, personally). Lots of good pdef on it and you can nirvy it later if you so choose to something else entirely. My personal favorite was the TT99 sword, but that's just me... :p

    The stuff that needs improvement:

Hat, but you are working toward a warsoul one, so that's that.

The cape: no reason to have dex on anything as a cleric. Get a cape with better adds. Make more OHT ones like the one you have or search for good 3* ones. I am not sure how much it costs now, but you can work towards a cloudcharger cape (or one of the event ones, which is similar to a lesser version of the cloudcharger cape) or farm a TM cape. FYI: If you like -chan, the wraithgate and hallucinatory trench capes have a version with -6 chan, IIRC.

TT90 boots are okay. You can try for some OHT boots with better adds (I found a pair with +7 vit, +94 pdef, and I forget what else). They are a higher grade and refine better as well. (I saw a pair with HP +105 *3 once.) If you have LOTS of free time and map 3 unlocked, you can try for the first incarnation of the Dancing Sparkle boots as they refine as well as the HR boots from packs (even though the grade says less, not sure why this is but it is advantageous to us either way). Obviously OHT boots are easier to acquire, but it's up to you and doesn't cost you much either way.

Lastly, up your refines a bit. I got +4's on everything with just refine stones and it was fairly cheap to do so. It's even cheaper now with event gold from DQ. You could get tienkangs and tishas for little cost to you.

    TL;DR

    Here's what I'd upgrade to...

    http://pwcalc.com/69571b31ed23d909

(I also took 2 Dex points out and put them in mag, as well as 4 Mag points out and put them in Str)

    Hope that helps, cheers!

I agree with everything Decus said. His gear build is very affordable and efficient. However, in my opinion, if you're never going for rank 8, I would go: http://pwcalc.com/c339d3a30ae53986 in terms of cheap end game gear.

You can swap the rings for the Lunar Glade ones in the future, but the ones you already have are fine for now.

I put +4 refines on everything, which, depending on your luck, is possible to get with even just pure mirages.

I know on the RT server, the green mats for the chest and pants have gone down from almost 1 mil a piece to 100 - 200k a piece, which makes it a lot more affordable if you need to buy the mats. You can gather a group of friends or faction mates to help you farm it though.

I also changed your necklace from the -channeling necklace to the TT90 gold one. It's a p.def necklace with +5% hp, which is pretty nice. You will need all the physical defense you can get, especially if you're planning on pk/TW'ing.

i know it's lame to say this but i would go for rank 8.
the armor is very nice and the wep totally outheals its tt99 counterparts

cube belt and amulet very nice of u can get them but even i am nowhere near affording those in the mean time tt90 gold and map 4 belt will work great. rank 8 ring is also nice
and luner gold ring could improve on fc gold

wings of cloudcharger although again out of my price range would be the best cape for your $. if you cant get that cape of elite leather is a nice cheap alternative.
and warsoul of heaven should be your helm

as for boots wrists and leggings i havent looked into them much but im sure others can help u with those.

and you should get a jones
Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

Thank you so much for the awesome advice you have all given, really appreciate you taking the time to advise and will be looking at the various options people have suggested. With regard to the cape i kinda borrowed that from my BM hence the extra dex so Im aware that needs different additions and in response to Furries I do use a Jones Blessing too but didnt list it on the site as I was having issues with the page crashing and Rank really is not within my Budget. I play for fun and dont use real cash that often...personally prefer the roof over my house and the car i drive lol...

With the money she'd spend on getting the tt99 wep/top/pants, she could be well on her way to r8. ijs.

With current gold prices? On RT gold goes for 1.4 mil each ATM. That's 100.8 mil coins. You would have to farm and sell the mats required for the armor tenfold for r8. Ijs.

Going by HL prices...the tt99 top is about 40mil, tt99 pants is about 30mil, and tt99 glaive is about 15mil. There's 85mil. Only need another 15mil for vastly superior ring/top/pants/wep. b:bye

That's not HL prices, that's going by chip prices for the gold mats. Good luck trying to sell the mats when everyone's so obsessed with rank. As I said in my first post, even the green mats have been reduced to 1/10th of the price before the rank sales came around. TT3-3 isn't that hard to do with a good squad anyway, so farming the actual mats (minimal cost) wouldn't be an issue. b:bye

(p.s. I myself am rank 9, and I agree that even rank 8 overpowers TT99 by far. But the poster has stated quite clearly that she will not go rank, so I'm providing alternatives that are completely obtainable with in-game farming. b:bye)

HL is full of jews and lazy people. It's the best combination.

OP would die very easily in 3-3 with her current gear. ijs. Also, she could use that good squad to farm the money for r8.

@OP ~ Anyway, I might as well offer my advice to what you can do right away:

    http://pwcalc.com/867c5e4b5b106e8c

Keep your Aquadash until you can get r8 wep or better. The difference in matk between the Aquadash and the tt99 glaive is not that great.

**** -chan neck and cape. -27ct is enough. You need to survive in order to heal. tt90 neck is rather cheap and is a very serviceable end-game neck if you can't get a cube neck. Elite Leather is good and cheap if you can't get your hands on a Wing Trophy cape/Cloudcharger/Nirvy cape. Alternatively, tm89 Eden pdef cape is nice as well if anyone on your server runs it.

While I'm not a fan of the other pieces of the tt99 set, the tt99 wrists have good add-ons and are easy to obtain. You can spam 3-2 mid-mode for the gold mats.

And, as others have suggested, finish your culti and get the 4th past belt.

Now about your top/pants/boots/rings. Your best option for the boots would honestly be to do as Decus said and try to get OHT boots with good add-ons. Until I got my Lunar boots, I used a pair of OHT ones that had +105 HP, +94 pdef, and +0.1m/s. For pants, the tt90 ones are perfectly usable for now. The adds are great and pretty much exactly what you need as a cleric. The top is also fine for now. For rings, an alternative to Lunar/r8 is to pick up HP/vit rings from AH for rather cheap. Either the level 98 ones that come as drops from Seat/Aba or OHT rings. I have two level 98 rings that give over 200 HP each that I use for TW currently.

With barb buffs, a charm, another cleric, and perhaps defense charms, she would be able to manage. Once she gets a p.def neck of course. (Maybe the level 87 necklace; Sky Demon's Pearl as a cheap temporary stand in.)

Yes, she could farm nirvana for r8, a completely viable option, albeit probably taking longer to obtain. She would, however, probably want to farm the TT99 armlets and shoes too, regardless of r8.

The only people that run 3-3 anymore are geared to the teeth APS chars that most likely already have their own personal clerics. Kudos to the OP if she can find a good fixed squad, but it probably won't happen.

Whether or not she can find a squad and whether or not she will be able to survive the run are two completely different subjects.

Honestly, if she's in a decent enough faction, or is sociable enough and has friends, I wouldn't doubt that she'd be able to get a fixed squad going. APS chars don't really care how much healing power their cleric has anymore, since they try to be self-sufficient with BP. They also are only after the damage reduction from BB in certain situations.
